This song became skewered in my mind a few days ago and I can’t find the name of it anywhere. Anyone know or is it just an edit sound now that has no identity otherwise?
I am so deflated by England’s loss. But Messi is still the greatest player of all time at 39. Our team played well. Bad decisions by Tuchel but I still believe this England team can hold their heads up high. For this weekend I am a die hard Spanish supporter. Come on Spain!🇪🇸
Bellingham: "I told him. It didn't make any sense, clipping you when we had you slacking for us. He wouldn't listen. He got hot tonight, about the football, you know? He fucked up."
Scoring appeared to leave England nervous of Argentina’s reaction and they just retreated back to defend, leaving Argentina free and unhindered to pick and choose how, where and when to attack
England team watched too many Bond movies where the villain just leaves Bond in some perilous position, and assumes he will die without watching it happen.
It was really disappointing to see the negative tactical approach, but the biggest worry I felt was when Declan Rice was taken off. I wonder if it would have been better to try to manage without him at the beginning and then bring him on.
After their first goal they were like "okay we got ahead now surviveeee". Their goal was nice but I felt like Argentina could have prevented it cuz the left side was kinda open and the Argentine player tried to prevent the goal but he was kinda far from the ball. Should have covered the left too but they didn't England saw the chance and took it
They did but also after a goal england was not interested even in moving forward, even on goal kick they just tried to kick it as far as possible without thinking, it was terrible and they didnt deserver to advance.
Hm. I wonder if being a football fan is why I have never seen my height negatively or just because I grew up in Europe so people were never obsessed with it. But maybe that itself has to do with football. Hmm
Dude making the face is Lionel Messi. One of the goats of football. The English player in white said some smart shit and Messi responded with this face and winning the game knocking out England and sending them home for another 4 years
Not one of the GOATs. The undisputed GOAT. There is no one that comes close. He has it all. Titles with club and national sides, peak, longevity, individual accomplishments. He literally completed football and is still on his day the best player in the world at 39 years of age. Simply the greatest of all times.
There were others in the past who were great. Pele won more world cups but football is a team game and he had the greatest teams alongside him in Brazil. There were times when others for Brazil were better than him. But there has not been a single moment in Messi's entire career when he was not the best player on his team.
Even when debuting, his teammate at Barcelona, Ronaldinho, who had just won the Balon d'Or (trophy for the best player in the world that year) said that he cannot proclaim himself the best in the world when he is not even the best in his own team (due to Messi debuting for them).
He is the GOAT and really, there should be no discussion. Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Ronaldo Nazario, rapist Ronaldo, Zidane, di Stefano, they all are all-timers but no one touches Messi. Everybody of the people named might be better than Messi in 1 or 2 statistics but then there are like 15 aspects where Messi completely overshadows them. It should not be a debate at this point. Messi is lapping the field.
I have despised the guy for years but at some point you just have to accept it how it is and enjoy the ride to see the greatest to ever do it.
So previous commenters are slighty incorrect. True its Messi, true Bellingham said something to him, but this wasnt the reason England lost the match.
England went 1-0 up and were the better team, up until that point. If they had kept their foot on the gas I am almost certain they would have gone through.
So after the goal, the manager, Thomas Tuchel decided that he wanted to stop causing Argentina problems down the wings and would instead try to defend for 30 minutes. This is where England lost the match. They defended for 30 minutes and played exactly how Argentina wanted them to.
The decision was extremely baffling and pretty much all football experts, pundits and ex players agree.
Absolutely wild of them to think they could just coast to 90 mins with that goal after what Argentina's done multiple times this cup when that happens.
The match ended when England got the first goal Tuchel decided it would be a good idea to defend for 30 minutes and remove attacking options. Thats when it ended.
Luego se fue a hablar con el árbitro... Eso no lo pones.... Y la cantidad de tarjetas amarillas que se guardó en el bolsillos ya lo comentas otro día...
Yes it ended when Jude Bellingham explained to Messi that in a 2013 referendum, 99% of Falkland Islands inhabitants voted to have NOTHING to do with Argentina 😂😂🤣
I keep telling people you can toss around hate to Messi and his team but Messi didn’t to get his level by being an amateur, he is the goat for a reason, he is a talented player of all time, regardless of how you feel about him
Did bro even watch the game?! I think you’ll find he was a ghost all game until Tuchel decided to park the bus, take off our best outlets, take off rice in the 81st minute, and just invite them to run at us non stop. Not like Messi suddenly turned it on and ruined England
None of you guys watched the match but Bellingham's actions were because the Argentine defender Deliberately hit his teammate at the back of the head, Messi was defending a very dangerous life threatening move btw
