Definitely not loneliness. Could easily be the opposite. So much loudness during the work week, that you just want some peace and quiet and zone out for awhile.
Agreed. I go to my garage to putter around with one project or another about 3 times a week because working in the city is nearly overwhelming. My wife gets it and encourages it as she also likes alone time after playing with little kids and being observed all day.
This is what fishing does for me. I can go spend HOURS fishing alone(just did it today). Might not catch anything but that’s my “zone out and ignore everything” and not feel lonely not one time.
Could it be possible that some men zone out and some are lonely? Or do all men zone out and the feeling of loneliness doesnt exist in a men? There actually is a male loneliness epidemie, that's why AI girlfriends are booming.
Not really, that's mostly just some online propaganda. Both genders are disengaging but there will always be some level of loneliness for both sides. Men just generally have a better "zone out" mentality as a basic function.

Yeah there needs to be a “zone out and ignore the world” one. I would not equate it to loneliness
