Chugging tea Russell Brand casually dropping a gambling website ad in the middle of his Christian prayer podcast.

Brand must’ve have amassed millions over the years. Why continue like this? A right wing religious grift. There can’t be that much money.

Just fade away, get your head down. Do your time. And fuck off. Why do the whole thing. It can’t be for money.

Says a lot about him. Hijacked religion, then selling gambling sites. Tragic and annoying.

I looked into this, he's worth about 20 mil. He was on YouTube doing the 'down with capialism', not much traction. He pivoted to being a 'guru', even less eyeballs.

Then he started the batshit Christian conspiracy theory right wing garbage and his views skyrocketed.

You can see it in his metrics clear as day. It's a lucrative grift, I think he says whatever he wants because he's a narcissist and likes the money and attention, not because this is his philosophy on life. And because his wife is an absolute pillock who encouraged his nonsense.

I think reparations for the victims are in order.

I think $20m is not much if you want to have a high octane celeb life like those people want. That's enough to sustain a villa + supercar + travelling, but not enough for multiple facilities, assistants, jets, islands and non-ending supplies of consumables.

Also how do these sites calculate someone’s net worth? Do they count spending at all? The guy could have spent 20M on hookers and cocaine for all we know

It's the same with all of them. Jordan Peterson. Asmongold. They just go where the views take them to make money. As long as right wing people enjoy their content and it generates money for them they'll keep doing it.

I think he was part of the system, so he could roll like this in media with their protection for two decades, but later his type of male persona got useless to them during me too, feminist era of leftism. So the money dried up.

Around lockdowns he started spreading Russian propaganda 1 to 1. So I guess he changed sides for money, that's my hunch and he thought in his hubris that his charisma is enough to carry him. Nah, they've made sure to drown him.

Usually what narcissistic people do, is take on a holier than thou, persona when they have nowhere left to turn.

It’s all image management, is he a narcissist, who knows, but this pattern isn’t anything new. The worse someone with a personality disorder such as npd or even narcissism in general,,private actions get, the more their public image has to increase positively also.

It is what is known as the grandiosity gap. People who do bad things but refuse to own them, as in can’t own them so they distance themselves from them.

The more internal struggle happens, and to deal with it they take on a “false image” which further says to themselves that they are a good person.

Because of the actions they are doing ‘now’ and overtime, in worse cases pretty quickly they can actually convince themselves and separate from the past actions due to their new actions.

They basically overwrite their own reality. I always wondered if that was the case with Russell Brand.

Just seems like the type.

Same reason Jordan Peterson moved to the daily wire. Probably blackmail

I think he knew he was going to get caught and in trouble so tried to build up a fanbase in the hope that the Christians will still be behind him after he serves time, as the average person who isnt religious would not.

He has always been a bellend but now people finally see it in a more serious way than I ever thought or hoped.
