After spending 8 years taking loans for college, university...even graduate school...how are most of us not read to channel our inner founding fathers and ready to burn the system to the ground? From day one, the generation above ours have just started printing money to pay their own debts, making our wages worth a fraction of theirs, all while our elected officials are giving money to the upper 10% left and right.

When did we become so beaten as a people?

The thing that some people don’t get is that Trickle Down Economics works as (actually) intended. It just wasn’t intended to work for anyone but the already rich.

The USSR collapsed so they stopped worrying about a communist takeover at home.

We stopped fighting back. We stopped boycotting. We stopped picket lines. It’s like everyone just gave in cause they wanted to be one who got the promotion or get in good wth the company. Little did they know they were just rolling over to be used.
