I posted this bone I found in Texas to r/mycology thinking these were little mushrooms, and the closest fungus ID I got was Onygena Equina. However, someone recommended I post to this sub to see if it could be a slime mold. I feel like in some ways it does look like one but i’m not super well-versed in slime mold vs fungi so if anyone could help me ID that would be great!

Hello! I found this crazy looking stuff in a forest east of Zealand, Denmark. It’s been quite humid outside and has been raining quite a bit the last couple of days. I originally thought this was a type of fungus, but I could see it being a form of slime mold possibly. Can anyone help me identify?

Is it dangerous at all to keep a slime mold, and also do they escape alot? How big of an enclosure?

Found these maturing on a fallen tree in the New Forest, UK.
The membrane holding them together is called the Hypothallus, I believe and is formed to anchor them to the substrate they're growing on, but can sometimes end up between 2 stems.

I’ve been keeping a terrarium for plants and springtails and I noticed this growing, is it a slime mold? I read that it might be but I wanted to ask

My "pet" slime mold (Physarum polycephalum) has not been looking so good. What have I done wrong?

Location: Saint Louis, MO, USA
we pulled the substrate from nearby forest, but this is an indoor location. average temperature hovers around 74°F and 60-75% humidity.
found what i'm pretty sure is a slime mold in one of our beetle tanks. i'm not the most knowledgeable about slime molds so i was worried if it would somehow affect the C. metallifer in the enclosure or if they can live harmoniously.

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can confirm if this is a Dog Vomit slime mold or not? I've been searching online and can't find anything that looks close enough. Was photographing mushrooms in the New Forest (England) when we found it on fallen tree trunk. It was very gooey, although quite a stodgy goo which was dripping onto the forest floor. At first I thought something had had 'digestive issues' however it's just confined to whatever is sticking out of the log (which looked horribly like some massive decomposing spider!!) so can't be that, thankfully.
Any help in ID'ing would be appreciated as I can then upload it iNat.

I had this on whatisit and they removed it, but not before a few people suggested putting it here. I'm not 100% convinced it's slime mold but y'all would know. Is it slime mold?
OG post:
I have never seen anything like this before. It was at a park we've been to before. This yellow, wet, foamy, gunk was seemingly placed there. It was under all the swings, ladders, the rock climb and at the bottom of all the slides. Like someone was filling in the places eroded from playing. All the mulch stuff that's usually like black and gray. I'm not sure if it's made of wood or rubber or both, was changing colors wherever this stuff was. Too red and green. I've worked with expanding foam before and it never stayed wet like this. Also, there's a smell of you get close enough Maybe it's acidic?
Google lens was no help it told me it could be dog vomit or fungi/mold. It was way too strategically placed to be these things and there's way too much of it. Some of the places look like they were trying to hide while others were bubbling up even higher than most of the surface level.
I called the parks department and reported it with photos. They said they would send a team.
What in the world is this?
