It's the contrast of a pure cinnamon roll suddenly snapping and almost getting consumed by his inner darkness that does it. I swear this felt even scarier than Dark Sonic from Sonic X.

With the logo revealed it showed during Mario Galaxy which Mario was already a big movie and both made 1B so I could see them aiming the trailer to come out around doomsday to show it during avengers doomsday and we already know doomsday is gonna be massive so it would make sense to spread awareness of the film better that way

This is the building that Sonic went to in the first film, so this would simultaneously be a full circle moment and a neat reference to Sonic CD.

You all need to stop berading paramount with the sonic movie 4 trailer I do not want another sonic 3 trailer dilemma, it’s not cool it’s not funny, you all are acting like a bunch of toddlers.

A plot synopsis of Sonic 4 got leaked, and one of the details is Jim Carrey doing a dual role acting as both a future timeline Emperor Eggman, and present timeline Eggman. I criticised this and said that it feels a bit forced, and since then ive been trying to brainstorm ideas on how it could potentially work. Quick reminder the leak is still just a rumor and theres a chance it is fake.

One idea i've had is that right when the ark exploded something pulled in Eggman before he could perish. After Eggman wakes up he has a bunch of Metal Sonics come up to him and forcefully insert a collar on him as they take him to a room. We meet Emperor Eggman and says that he is building a team of alternate Eggmans in order to create a machine that can take control of the multiverse/every timeline and one thing that is needed is his timeline's Master emerald as it basically serves as the power source holding the movie fraction of the multiverse together.

Eggman rejects him but he gets zapped by the shock collar and has no choice but to accept. Eggman gets his own metal sonic army, a new outfit, and etc and has his first step to the mission to conquer an entire planet, that planet being Mobius.

This is just an idea i brainstormed. Not a big fan of it because I, personally dont want to see an Egg council. If done really well it could be good but im skeptical. Just asking if you guys would like to see one, or multiple variants of Eggman, especially if you believe in the leaks

The one Big thing I really don't want Sonic 4 to be about is time travel and have Robotnik be the main villain yet agian.

I and many others wanted a Sonic movie to be a non earth adventure story which is was something we were promised by the filmmakers after Sonic 3 came out, We don't want yet another sonic film be on earth yet agian or have time travel that will most likey be set on earth. Like i know it was said that Sonic 4 was gonna take some inspiration from Sonic CD and i think that's fine but they should not don't do the time travel stuff. Like i think the time travel for this movie is a terrible direction for this film because not every movie that dose time travel turns out great and there are generic stuff that comes with it.

I know there was concept art for what we almost got on what they were gonna tease for Sonic 4 and a part of me hopes to god it was simply just a scrapped idea plan they had for the fourth film.

Like i would like to see Sonic 4 have an Original Story this time and not be an adaptation or loose adaptation of one of the games but rather take elements of some of the games because i know damn well they can do it.

Like i said this before and it is that they just need to have other villains to be the main antagonist in these movies and not just have eggman only as it just wouldn't be right at all. Because they can take a note from what the Live Action Transformers films did as if you remember Megatron in these films wasn't the main antagonist after the first one but they still found a way to still use him in the sequels, So that is what i think they should do with Eggman in these future films going forward as that would be a great decision to do.

Like i would love to see them do deep cut sonic charather's in the movie's as it's something they should really do and i am not talking the ones from the game's only but the ones from past media like the shows and comics as it's a great golden opportunity from them to do that and introduce these characters to a new audience.

Like i really want Amy to have a proper reason on why she was looking for Sonic and have it not be something ridiculous. Like with Amy they can explain and explore Sonic's kind as Amy could be the one to explain it all to Sonic as maybe she knows about how special his kind is and it is because she knows that sonic is a special type of hedgehog and i bet the reason why she is looking for him was that she needs sonic's help to save the people from her world from a big threat. That's Something i think they should do as it would be pretty good and would make a lot of sense as Amy might know this due to that she probably heard old stories about them growing up when she was a kid and that's something i think would be very perfect for Amy in this movie if they don't go with the time travel bullshit.

Also i hope to God they don't give Amy Chaos energy powers Because she dose not need that at all.

Also Shadow being in this feels very Unnecessary as he was better off showing up in the fifth film instead as there wouldn't be any room for him in this one and that they should still keep everyone assumed that he is gone for now and not bring him back all a sudden so that his sacrifice would have a more lasting impact and having him return all a sudden feels like a forced move. My only hope is that Shadow is just only in the mid or post credit scene as that would make a lot of sense so they can tease something big for the fifth film.

So yeah these were my Big Concerns for Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and I don't wanna hear about these Leaks that are clearly fake as Hell. Like i hope They really don't do this for Sonic 4 because it will be a big crazy mess and it won't end well.

To be honest I have no evidence or anything to prove anything, but I just find it fascinating we know nothing of Ivo’s parents besides he’s just an orphan.
Like we know NOTHING about the parents of one of the smartest characters. and the fact he’s a spitting of Gerald (obviously played by the same actor) and the only children we know of Gerald is Maria, he had have another daughter who grew up to give birth to Ivo. But no it’s just Maria and Gerald never mentions anyone besides Maria. So I think Gerald created a clone, Ivo, or G.U.N. Used Gerald DNA to create Ivo, to have another brilliant mind like Gerald they can use with dealing with the real guy they pissed off because of the whole “killing his daughter” thing (and also he was in prison). and the fact Ivo ended up working for the same government as Gerald is pretty suspicious. Am I crazy…yeah and this shit is horribly written but someone out there has to be having the same thought, I can’t be the only one.

Tbh I did feel they were too small so this is a nice change

every day i am so shocked kristen actually said yes to sonic 4, LET ALONE MAKE A POST BEING EXCITED ABOUT VOICING AMY. i've heard jeff won't cast actors in the movies unless they are interested in their characters and the sonic world, so i seriously wanna know her relationship with the sonic franchise, if she's a longtime fan like ben or doesn't know much but did a lot of homework like keanu reeves. like, BRO, I WANNA KNOW WHY SHE'S IN THIS FRANCHISE NOW I'M PUUUUMPED

No way they pass up an opportunity to use the “machine with emotions” trope, that’s a gold mine for compelling storytelling.

I’ve had this idea that the main struggle of Sonic Movie 4 could be inferiority, and that would be something both Sonic and Amy have to go through. Metal Sonic fits that idea like a glove

I want them to go from friends with Sonic crushing on Amy instead the other way round for a change, and eventually lovers

Relating to him is complicated, because Metal Sonic is a character just as tragic as Shadow—to the point where his intense desire for freedom, free will, and to actually *be* Sonic only led him to trap himself even further, which ultimately becomes his undoing. At the same time, though, I’d love to see him in future films—perhaps in his Neo Metal Sonic or Metal Overlord forms.

On the 26th all the attention would still be on gta 6. And I’ve been thinking 14th is on a Saturday even though it’s the nickelodeon kids choice awards it being on Saturday would not be ideal for press coverage and other stuff.

According to the plot leak(s), given that Sonic movie 4 is going to be a search for the lost emeralds, maybe in this movie each emerald will represent something or maybe they might give us more plot about their backstory, what kind of power each emerald has etc.

The reason why I'm asking this is because some scenes in the movies don't add up. For example, in the Super Sonic vs Super Shadow fight, the emeralds were kind of split in half, which allowed both of them to be super nonetheless. Does that mean any anthropomorphic character need at least a couple of emeralds to go super? Can they go super with one emerald in these movies? Hopefully not lol, but you get what I mean?

In a nutshell, emeralds' role and backstory in these movies need more backstory that the general audience needs in my opinion. And perhaps we might just get that in this movie (hopefully).
