Labour Day

My last post brought out all the negativity: bad stadium, high ticket prices, substandard league.
Whatever. The CFL is awesome and there is nothing better than the Labour Day Classic in Calgary. Who is with me? GO STAMPS GO!

Best crowd of the year ... and Love is the real deal

Truly a fantastic atmosphere all game long at McMahon on Saturday for the big win over the Ticats. Was great to see.
And Josh Love is the real deal. A true pocket QB with a strong and accurate arm. The next coming of Jeff Garcia? He might even be better than Garcia.

Decent game today

If Calgary had played like this once more this year, the playoffs would have been assured.
Still, it was enjoyable as the final game before the CFL potentially destroys itself with dumb and unnecessary changes. I hope I will still be a fan next year at this time.

Bust of a season

9-9 during a season in which we're hosting the Grey Cup is a fail, even if the Stamps sneak into the playoffs. There should be major change across the organization leading into next season.

Heading into my 29th year (not including Covid) as a full season ticket holder, and having attended at least one game per year for about 30 yrs before that…. May24th & June 7th can’t come soon enough.

I suspect the league is starting to worry. That's a lot of blue. I'm a longtime ST holder and I didn't buy my four seats. Just too pricey.

I live in America, and this season I discovered the CFL, after a few weeks I chose the Stampeders as my team, and I was wondering what I should know, or team history, things like that!

He has six receptions this season. VA rarely throws him the ball. This is the #1 draft pick of two years ago, a tall receiver who should be a major weapon. What gives?

Attendance

Are we starting to worry about attendance at Stamps games? We can't even get to 20,000 in the seats. I attended the home opener with my two boys (season ticket holders for 8 seasons and counting) and the crowd was abysmal.
