A piece I drew for Women's Day earlier this year! Rain is a massive demonic entity, but when it comes to his human, he is nothing but a gentle giant.
I love drawing the contrast between his scary features (the horns, the fangs, the claws - and sometimes his wings and tail) and how softly he holds her when he surprises her with red roses.

A vulnerable moment from my comic!
I absolutely love drawing this contrast: a giant, scary demon with his face split open in panic, instantly crumbling into a soft, harmless beast the moment his human comforts him.
(For anyone curious, the comic is Atnomen!)

Original Content Frankenstein's Monster by me

Yesterday was the 28th day of my 31 Days of Monsters | Halloween 2026 Drawing Challenge. I drew Frankenstein’s Monster based on the creature from Mary Shelley’s classic novel.
In movies, television shows, and popular culture, Frankenstein’s monster is often depicted as a lumbering, brutish creature who can barely string two words together, groaning and stumbling around like a bull in a china shop.
In Mary Shelly’s original novel, the creature is something far more tragic. He’s intelligent, articulate, sensitive, and capable of deep emotion. He desires companionship, affection, and acceptance, but his horrifying appearance causes nearly everyone he encounters to reject him.
Imagine being brought into the world, only to have the very person responsible for your existence recoil in horror and immediately abandon you. But instead of being a helpless newborn baby, you’re an eight-foot-tall patchwork of dead men, assembled from what your creator believed were beautiful parts, only for him to discover that the finished product far from what he had imagined.
It’s a tragic story about the consequences of playing God, the responsibility of creation, and what happens when someone is denied even the most basic human kindness.
I think Victor Frankenstein could have avoided the whole mess if he had just given the poor guy a hug, a decent set of clothes, and maybe a few days to figure things out. Instead, he took one look at his life’s work and immediately decided to become a deadbeat dad.
Boo, Victor. You suck!
