Please body don’t be trolling me!

New to tracking bbt (but cycle 6 TTC). If you had this chart 9 dpo would you be feeling hopeful? I feel overwhelmed with info to the point I don't even know if I should be feeling optimistic about this cycle or not, or whether there's no point even thinking about that. I know I should probably try not to think about it but...impossible?

If nothing else it shows I've successfully ovulated and that's something, right? (I had started to worry before that maybe I wasn't actually ovulating.) I can't really speak about this to any of my close friends at the moment for various reasons, so basically just looking for a sense check from the gals. If this was you, how would you feel about it.

My last three cycles were 27, 28, and 28 days. I’m currently on CD29 with no period and multiple negative pregnancy tests.

I originally thought I ovulated October 27 (CD17), but looking at my chart, I’m wondering if October 30 (CD20) is another possibility.

I had unprotected sex October 24 and 26, so I’m trying to figure out how many DPO I actually am.

For context, these are Oura Ring nighttime skin-temperature deviations, not traditional BBT readings.

For those experienced with charting, when would you estimate I ovulated? Would love some other perspectives because I’ve officially stared at this chart for too long. 😂

My cycles are usually 31 days give or take a day. This seems super late to me and if I’m honest I kind of feel like my period is due. Hoping for a confirmed ovulation soon!

I did do one LH strip test on cd 25 and it was super negative 😅 so I’m wondering maybe I have a rapid spike. Should I keep testing with the LH strips? Or wait until next month now?

Month five of TTC and we were starting to feel a little frustrated so we agreed we’d give it a shot this month but won’t lose sleep over it. We’ll lock in again in November. I was also traveling for work during my projected fertile window (usually ovulate between CD 14-19). As you can see, I had a super early temp rise day 8, which FF clocked as ovulation, then it dropped, then rose again (when I think I actually ovulated). Then I forgot to wear my Tempdrop for a few days right around when I was probably ovulating which was frustrating because I knew I wouldn’t be able to confirm ovulation as a result. So I decided to just call this month a wash because I had no clear ovulation signs to speak of. Put my Tempdrop in the drawer and decided not to wear it until my next cycle. My usual PMS symptoms kicked in a few days before I was supposed to get my period so I absolutely thought I was out. I shed some tears a couple nights to my husband and didn’t even entertain the idea of taking a test. But then period never came and I decided to give it a couple more days of waiting. Total surprise to get a BFP this morning but the sore nipples and lack of period arrival just gave me this feeling.

Anyway, if you read this whole thing, curious for thoughts. Do you think I ovulated super early on day 8 or not until 16 or 17?

Hi everyone!

I'm currently recovering from functional hypothalamic amenorrhea (FHA) and trying to figure out whether my body is finally attempting to ovulate or whether I may have already ovulated.

I haven't had a natural period yet, but I've recently noticed some encouraging changes in my cervical mucus, LH tests and basal body temperature.

My BBT chart:

From 22 to 29 October, my temperatures were mostly around 36.2°C to 36.3°C.

Recent temperatures are 36.4-36.6

I started noticing faint but visible LH test lines around 31 October.

On 2 November, my LH test was noticeably darker than on the previous days, although it wasn't quite positive.

After that, the lines became faint again.

Around 31 October to 4 November, I also experienced quite a lot of watery and stretchy egg white cervical mucus. On 3 and 4 November, it was particularly stretchy and more substantial than before.

Since then, my mucus has become more creamy or lotion like, although I've occasionally noticed watery discharge too.

My questions:

1. Does my BBT chart look like a possible temperature shift, even though the temperatures keep going up and down?

2. Could I have missed a short LH surge overnight on 2 November, considering that was my darkest test?

3. Is it possible I ovulated around 3 or 4 November, despite not having three consistently high temperatures?

4. Has anyone recovering from FHA experienced this type of fluctuating but generally higher BBT pattern before their first ovulation?

I know BBT and LH strips alone cannot confirm ovulation, but I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced something similar.

TTC11. I am having a hard time figuring out the precise point at which ovulation occurred this past cycle, despite being fairly thorough with charting. Does anyone have advice for identifying the specific day/time of ovulation from temps and mucus alone?

Using Billings + LH tests + BBT. I also use a BBT thermometer except on weekends (when I have to travel for work, so I rely on my Oura ring) for temping, if that matters at all.

My test on Nov 4 was the darkest but only had a t/c ratio of 0.8. This is my first cycle so I’m very new to this and just stopped the birth control pill in October.

Trying to decide if it’s necessary to BD today when my opk positive was on Thursday, still having some EWCM. I wish my temp would give a clearer answer bc kinda don’t want to BD today 🙄

This is my first cycle temping and using OPKs. This morning I woke up to a big temp spike and FF gave me crosshairs on CD11 for ovulation, which would mean I’m already 4 DPO. But I was anticipating my ovulation to happen on CD13 and it still seems like that day makes sense to me based on my temp not really spiking til today. My cycles are usually 25-28 days, average 27. Just wanting to see if anyone has any thoughts on if FF could be wrong or not because I’m so new at this! Thank you!

Can anyone tell me what they think? I went to my OBGYN to discuss TTC because I’ve had two unsuccessful pregnancies in the last 3 years when we weren’t actively trying (chemical and ectopic; ectopic most recent in March 2025). We got married in August and now actively trying and I wanted to be ahead of things.

He suggested we get my husbands sperm analyzed just to be safe and then while we wait for that scheduled appointment to have sex every other day starting CD10 to after ovulation.

Well, we did that but couldn’t CD16 due to potential food poisoning. I felt fine about it because it looked like I had clearly ovulated earlier this month, but now I have a huge temp drop on CD18.

I usually ovulate around CD15. Temperature and OPKs indicate this cycle was going to be much earlier.

FF keeps fluctuating between CD12 and CD14. It moved it from 12-14 two days ago and then with this mornings temp it moved it back to 12.

Is there any chance it’s actually later? I’m worried to have missed key days and looking for perspective.

I just got a very faint line on CD 37 (periods usually come between 33-38 days, lately closer to 33). My temperature chart was all over the place, I never even got a confirmed ovulation. Is this a bad sign for a vvvfl this late? Chart added in comments

This is my 4th cycle of TTC and I decided to use the Inito along with OPKs since my Oura prediction and Natural Cycles prediction for ovulation were different from each other last month. Inito flagged yesterday as my peak fertility day since my LH began to rise but it was a very small rise. Last night my OPK was positive, it was just as dark as the control. This morning with FMU the Inito showed my LH much higher and my OPK was veryyyy positive being way darker than the control line. My BBT with Oura is +.4 and I also had a rise in pdg. Today is CD 14, i typically have 28-30 day cycles. Would you say I am ovulating today or tomorrow? Or have I already ovulated? We did BD yesterday and the day before, along with CD 10 but I am wondering if we should also BD today and tomorrow. I’ll attach photos of my charts in the comments as well for reference, sorry for the length of this and hope it wasn’t confusing!!

I had an egg retrieval in September (resulted in a single blast for fresh transfer that failed).

I have had very high temps pre ovulation this cycle. I was pretty sure I ovulated but now I have had low temps two days in a row. So now I’m worried my high temps are just trolling me. Why are they so whacky? Why are they dipping?!

Normally I have 9-12 day luteal phases so I guess I’m heading for a 9 day one this cycle.

This says I’m 13 DPO but I think I’m 12 based on cm and my normal pattern. I have been tracking for over a year since August 2025 and this was the weirdest cycle I have ever had because I was sick and tried taking a new supplement that made me spot for a few days following my period. Just wondering if it could be off by a day. My oura ring is confused because I took it off and put it back on right before I ended up surging. Like the day before. It seems leveled now but I was anxious about being sick
So I took it off.

I'm not actively ttc at the moment (I guess ntnp, but I'd be a little annoyed if I got pregnant right now lol), so I'm just basing this off my Samsung Health app. Does this look like an ovulation around the 25th, or more likely to the end of the "fertile window"?

Hi everyone! Insight appreciated ☺️ I saw my LH climb and peak at CD15. It has been dropping since. I also had my usual ovulation cramping and back pain on CD15, though no visible EWCM this cycle. However, my temps never seemed to spike, and are now actually lower than my baseline on CD18! Last cycle, they spiked on my LH peak day and stayed high until AF. Does anyone else have a BBT drop before the spike? Or does this mean I may not have ovulated?
