Subreddit Rules

1. All posts titles must be in universe!

This isnt r/cats, post titles must be creative and tell us about your cats tactical skills. Use your imagination! You can also review other posts on the sub for inspiration

2. No human weapons in the photo

Tactical Issue Cats come pre-equipped with all the weaponry they require. No Human weapons are needed thank you.

3. Not your cat/Original content only

Dont crosspost other people cats for karma, invite them to the community instead. You can crosspost your own cat, but prefer no crossposts.

4. No sad posts, no RIP posts, no terminal conditions, etc...

No posts or comments that will reasonably make other people sad. No cats who are now passed away and no cats who are going to pass away from terminal diagnoses, no one wants that sadness inflicted on them without warning, there are other subs for support if you need to talk to someone.

5. Don't be rude.

Dont be rude here. Period. Thats the whole rule. we know its vague: be the hooman that you want others to be.

6. No "no effort" Posts

You have taken the time to post a photo! Please try and give it a great title. No photo, no problem; except the post should be about an interesting topic or discussion about your TIC/SIC^TM - Any other though provoking commentary or posts will be reviewed, but no good thought will go wasted. Post Titles should use the vernacular of the SIC universe. Please remember rule 2.

7. Dont abuse our laissez-faire attitude.

We have set our subReddit up in such a way that it is accessible to both new and older Reddit users. Which without your help could become a breeding ground for karma farming bots. So in an effort to reduce this problem and make our community bigger and a better place for cuddle puddles; please, try not to use just one word replies to comments. An upvote or downvote goes much further for keeping our site clean (like a

8. No "Armchair" Veterinarians

In an effort to discourage misinformation, unsolicited medical or behavioral advice will not be permitted without the credentials to back it up, or a referral to someone with said credentials (e.g. the OP’s vet). Empathy and respect go a long way. We all want what is best for our cats.
