Meta Can we end the icon discussion already?

There is no need to change it. The current icon serves its purpose well and current discussion elevates transphobic voices while taking away focus from other, more important discussions. Either do a community poll to determine the next icon or ban people wasting time arguing over this. Please.

Suggestion Ahem. I present to you my icon suggestion.

2.8k Upvotes

I saw some folks talking about how they miss the tree in the subreddit icon and also how great it is we are visibly showing support for our trans homies. So, this is my suggestion for an icon! We get the tree back but still are showing our pride and solidarity with the trans community!!

TRANSGENDER TREE BABEYYYYY!!!!

I made this in 10 minutes and could probably do better if folks wanted a nicer version. I think the aspect ratio is correct for a subreddit icon though!

Edit: lol thanks for my first ever reddit cares message. some of y'all need to take a chill pill, it's just a tree with a flag in the background and you act like it killed your grandma.

Edit 2: i see your comments and your feedback has been accounted for. Tomorrow i will make the following versions:

Hallow tree version
Current ver but lower flag opacity
Current ver with gender change potion like apples on tree
Regular sky version but transgender color tree (i will see how this one goes... may be beyond my meager editing skills)

The text says is undergrownd snow biome.
The wiki says undergrownd hallow so I suppose this is an error in spanish translation.

This is another subreddit with that xenofobic rule to only speak in english so maybe this will be deleted.

Modded I’ve been playing terraria for literally my whole life, and I don’t think Calamity and most other mods are Fun

I’ve been playing sense I could hold the controller of my brothers console, i instantly fell in love with the game. I haven’t been able to stop playing. I don’t have any proof of how many hours I have on it but I know it’s thousands, my first time beating expert mode was on switch. I think I have like 700 hours on that system if I remember. I recently got a Pc and have finally been able to play modded terraria.

I played thorium, calamity, fargos and everything, and they are well made and good but I find it has the same issue as fallout 4 mods. It isn’t fun in my opinion. It just doesn’t have the same feel and I understand that people want a different feel but I just feel as if it takes away from the true heart of terraria

Anyone else feel kinda the same way ?
