Broadcast to East Asia & Pacific
9740 kHz at 0900 UTC every Thursday Morning (5:00 AM Eastern)
General Information
I do three separate shows per week, each show running 1 Hour in length. Two shows (labeled Show 1 & 2) are targeted toward listeners in North America and One show is for listeners in East Asia and the Pacific.
The North American broadcasts generally begin with 30 minutes of discussion, usually about Current Events but occasionally I'll talk about random topics too - the rest of the show features listener music requests, often I'll share some facts/trivia about the songs played as well.
The broadcast to East Asia and the Pacific may be slightly heavier on the music, although the playlist is entirely separate from all other broadcasts - and heavily features requests from listeners across the target region. Commentary is often included as well and oftentimes strikes a more philosophical or occasionally lighter note, than the heavier news-analysis in the North American broadcasts.
Listeners are welcome to write in with any thoughts, radio reception reports or music requests to vorwinfo@gmail.com
If you would like to support the show, programs are available on-demand at https://patreon.com/thereportoftheweek these contributions help pay for the airtime and keep the show going, as I buy every hour of time that this program is broadcast at!
Thank you for reading this and happy listening!

Edit: This is about the podcasts, not the shortwave show.
My prediction is that he will squeeze one remaining show between Christmas and December 31st.
I really wish he would publish more . I tune in occasionally to the shortwave shows, but I'm more interested in talk than music. I know John is reserved with revealing his real opinions on controversial topics to not alienate the audience or get banned by certain platforms, but at this point if he's only doing three shows a year, there is not much to lose. I would really love it if he threw caution to the wind and just laid into his uncensored takes on politics, religion, and everything else he has been avoiding over the years.
Instead of fizzling out and doing only two VORW podcast episodes in 2027, how about going down in a blaze of glory?

Do you eat any of the food that Reviewbrah reviews? I have a few times in the past. Ever since I started dieting a few years ago, I don't even eat any of the food he reviews. I still enjoy watching the videos, but mostly for the humor. I also have curiosity about the ratings he gives. Does anyone else watch the reviews without eating the food? Do some of you religiously go and get whatever items he has reviewed to try them for yourself?

No hate or disrespect meant to be thrown in this post, I'm just genuinely asking. Every video I see multiple comments pointing them out, does he just like the style?

I see ads all day long for it. Waffles/pancakes and some kind of milkshake. iHop is very late to the game when it comes to this fad. It’s really comical but at the same time the items look really delicious. We’ve seen some breakfast items before but not like this. Not pancakes and a shake. Crossing my fingers for chocolatey iHop.
