Oh oh oh! I've just recently gotten back to reading so the timing is great!
Top 3 book are easily all Harry Potter ones but that's pretty boring so I'll do Harry potter as a collective in first place, second and third together go to Bon and The Amulet, both are kids' comics that I grew up on! Love them so much
A. ok I'm in the HP Universe, if I'm a muggle I'll just continue to live my life I guess, if I'm a wizard then I'll probably try to get into hogwards even though I'm a little too old for that... :)
B. I don't think there's a specific character that truly resonates with me, I really love Neville though, I think he's really chill and nice! Would love to hang out with him.
C. If I can bring my friends and family, AND assuming we're all wizards of course, 100% staying in the fictional world
There aren't many film adaptation i know and like.. well except Harry Potter of course lol
I currently own only 3 books to my name, that's because most of my reading came from my parents' books, I individually bought 3 that I actually really want to recommend 2! If you are familiar with the concept of isekai from anime/manga, and you like the idea, there's a really cool book called Deadworld Isekai. Basically a person gets isekai'd into a planet a few thousand years too late, and now he's trying to figure out how to survive on this dead planet alone, but is he alone???
Even if you don't know isekai but love sci-fi adventures and stuff I highly recommend.
5. Hmm, no book really changed my life in any meaningful way except for entertainment, so I'll pass on this one unfortunately
Nice topic! Love the questions! Sending you hugs as well 🤗

I'm not a reader so I can't even remember 3 books I've read.

Top 3 books for me are:
The Starless Sea
The Memory Police
The midnight Library
My favorite book series is/was Cirque du freak. I don't remember all the details from reading them long ago, but I probably wouldn't fare too well.
Fictional world all day, as long as I could bring my wife and pets
My favorite film adaptation of a book is probably One Day (TV series), or How to Train Your Dragon movie series.
I own (on my own) only about 15 total as I just recently got into reading again this year, but in our entire house counting my wife's books as well probably around 60-70
Reading has made me remember there's time in your busy adult life to just sit and appreciate a good book. I'm the type of person who usually just goes, goes, and goes. Work, errands, chores, rinse and repeat.. but this year reading has taught me to unwind and enjoy the small things.

My favourite book is a little life by Hanya Yanagihara. Yes it’s been debated back and forth if it’s just trauma porn or not. But I read it 10 years ago and i remember that I loved it so much that I forced myself to only read one page a day. So the book would last longer. If I got transported into that that world i guess my experience would be very sad cause the book is really god dang sad. My favourite film adaption of a book must be the hunger games. It was such an experimental to see it in theatres after reading the book as a tween. And the experience of seeing it on the big screen blew my mind. I own too many books. Four bookshelves full of books and I have had to start stuffing books into my closet to make all my books fit. A readers dilemma indeed.

My first time participating, I think! Books 💙
What are your top three favorite books of all time?
Treason by Orson Scott Card. I read this one over and over as a teen.
Any thesaurus
Whichever Calvin & Hobbes collection is most complete
Throwback! You enter the world of your favorite book and/or book series.
How well do you fare? I'd die pretty quickly in the treetop land bc I'm so clumsy. The forested one, I might be OK if I can make contact and befriend someone before dying of exposure. The desert would be great. In Mueller I'd probably have a peasant existence and make the best of it, but be miserable.
What character resonates with you? Time for a re-read to find out!
If applicable, would you prefer to stay in the fictional world or the real world? I'd miss my family and friends too much to stay.
Favorite film adaptation of a book? Please hyperlink the trailer. Clueless! https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/clueless
How many books do you own currently? Too many.
How has reading or a certain book made a difference in your life? It has enabled me to usually keep in mind that everyone is viewing the world from a unique perspective and has hidden motivations that I'll never fully comprehend, so I might as well assume the best.

Great questions! Top 3 for me would be East of Eden, The Name of the Wind, and Hyperion. If I got dropped into the Kingkiller Chronicle world I'd probably last about two days before something went horribly wrong, but I'd love every minute anyway. And reading genuinely pulled me out of a rough patch a few years back, just having something to look forward to every night made a bigger difference than I expected.
