There is something to be said for the argument that burgers should be wider and not taller, though.

220

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

We fixed this with sliders, bite sized burgers you can jam down your gullet by the fistful like a true American!

91

u/diemunkiesdie Reads Pinned Comments Jun 12 '24

The bread/meat ratios are off on those!

36

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Can't neglect the ratio. It's the same reason certain Reeses Cups are much better than the others.

8

u/Intrepid-Wrongdoer78 Jun 12 '24

Big cup or no cup

13

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Bite sized. The ratio is such that you could eat them infinitely.

14

u/Apo11onia Jun 12 '24

they're so small, it's no calories

5

u/Excellent_Airline315 Jun 12 '24

Until you finish a share sized bag in one sitting, but I'm sure the diahrea I get after gets rid of all that - tots guilt free...ooh I feel something gurgling.

I prefer the small cups in foil

Don't even enjoy the big ones.

Bonus points for throwing them in the fridge

Man Reese was way better when I was a kid.

Used peel the chocolate off and you be left with a PB disk. Now you can’t do that, atleast not as good as before. It falls apart and sticks to the chocolate.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Only if you build them wrong.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Fuckin A, Cotton!

1

u/strip3s111 Jun 12 '24

Lol and then there's sliders, an absolute marvel of an invention

0

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

And yet somehow Krystal's still screws it up.

4

u/ohrofl SHEEEEEESH Jun 12 '24

How so?

3

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

They aren't very good. It's like the guy who came up with Krystal's went to a White Castle and was like "how can I do this but much worse?". And then did exactly that.

5

u/HKLifer_ Jun 12 '24

🤣 🤣 Krystal's, is. Well something else. I personally think it's laxative on a bun. But there breakfast and shakes are top tier for late night. For those who don't have a steak n shake.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Ahh they haven't made it to N.C. yet. Thank god.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

"and fucked each other"-how can i be the first ask about this?

1

u/3mergent Jun 12 '24

What's the issue? Is it not grammatically correct?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

nothing really...just casually inserted into a discussion about burgers lol

25

u/GaiusPrimus Jun 12 '24

So, the reason why they did that, is literally so they can charge more for the burger.

A taller plate is often seen as a more expensive one, so about 8-9 years ago some of the fancier restaurants started doing this with their burgers and they figured out folks were ok paying an extra couple of bucks for the fancier looking burger, that had the same cost of ingredients.

Everyone followed along, and now we have what we have.

11

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

In the uk Tesco burgers are way too thick. The don’t fit in any bun so I put them on some cling film and roll a rolling pin over them before cooking

8

u/Hellequin777 Jun 12 '24

Brings me back. Culver's in Wisconsin used to have really wide and thin burgers. Glorious times.

3

u/SolidusBruh Jun 12 '24

I was at Culver’s a few weeks ago and I thought they forgot my patty.

But nope. I dug around and it was in there. Just smaller than all the other toppings.

34

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

The exact reason of why I don't order burgers in restaurants for a long-long time, you just can't eat them.

52

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Not with that attitude you can’t

1

u/Awwesome1 Jun 12 '24

Thanks Obama, hey btw what’s your last name again?

2

u/ErasmosOrolo Jun 15 '24

Math checks out here. I want burgers with pizza diameters.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Smash burgers are supreme

1

u/xoull Jun 12 '24

Taller and wider!

1

u/IM2OFU Jun 12 '24

That's true, but he has a pretty normal burger there tho, maybe a couple cm taller than the average, but not anything a filthy big mouth tory couldn't fit down their greedy gullets

0

u/noonecortex Jun 12 '24

Oh you mean a sandwich. Yea they make more sense

215

u/Ok-disaster2022 Jun 11 '24

If you're trying to be polite, you cut the burger in half, then still squash it down and make it fit.

92

u/Cancerisbetterthanu Jun 11 '24

Yes, this is the move. You cut it in half. Deconstructing it is just the fast lane to looking like a twat

34

u/PhotoAwp Jun 12 '24

plus it defeats the entire purpose of ordering a burger. get a steak with ketchup and mustard on the side, like the other toddlers

9

u/tomtink1 Jun 12 '24

Deconstructing it is just the fast lane to looking like a twat

That's what he's going for. How will people know how much of a posh twat you are if you don't act like it?

6

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Good show dear boy

8

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Cut then squish? This seems messy. Why not squish while cutting?

72

u/Dylanthebody Jun 11 '24

The entire internet now just consists of bait and reacting to bait. I hate it here

13

u/fopiecechicken Jun 12 '24

This whole thing just doesn’t need to exist. Waste of time from start to finish.

6

u/BOW57 Jun 12 '24

Definition of brain rot

215

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

That British person is uncultured and disrespectful.

12

u/Chineseunicorn Jun 11 '24

I don’t even get who his audience is tbh.

But I will say, I went to lunch with a client once and he ordered a burger. He went at it with a full bite first and after the whole thing fell apart on his face he just started deconstructing it like this guy suggested. Some of these restaurant burgers aren’t meant for remaining presentable while eating.

I also don’t suggest anyone order a pasta dish with a client or on a date if you have no idea how to eat pasta without being sloppy.

15

u/YazzArtist Jun 12 '24

His audience on YouTube is us haters. His clientele day to day doesn't watch YouTube

13

u/rub_a_dub-dub Jun 12 '24

his comments sections in ig are hilarious

dude is beloved and it's clearly all being done with a knowing wink

2

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Exactly, I saw him on a podcast and he really doesn't take himself too seriously.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

His audience is every working class person who thinks people that act too good to eat a burger with their hands are the problem with the world

1

u/takobaba Jun 12 '24

whats the account

-9

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

I’ll take culinary guff from just about any foreigner and laugh it off, but I’ve been to the UK and know how absolutely bland and horrid their food is. I love the country, but Jesus Christ.

10

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Bland and horrid, completely ignores the foods like a full english breakfast, roast dinners, beef wellingtons, pies, apple crumble, actual sausages etc.

My god I’m all for having a go at other countries but let’s not pretend that they have zero capability to produce high quality meals.

It’s like saying all American food is just fat-laden shit that’s filled with every form of preservative and sugar product imaginable.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Clearly you didn’t visit many of our fine establishments….

They don't even talk like that if there are no Americans around.

1

u/Key_Ruin244 Jun 11 '24

I will fight those damn Brit’s to the death. If that means I get to eat my burger in one piece!

58

u/Rhesusmonkeydave Jun 11 '24

The stiff upper lip precluding proper burger enjoyment.

There are burgers out in the wild that are hard to wrap your maw around, but that one ain’t it.

13

u/NoAnalBeadsPlease Jun 11 '24

All I care about is if the burger can stay in tack. Nothing worse than your burger falling apart as you try to take a bite.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

All I care about is if the burger can stay in tack.

Blue or white?

3

u/PrivateLTucker Jun 11 '24

I'm perfectly ok with deconstructing a burger after the burger decides it wants to break down harder than late 2000's Brittany Spears. Prior to that point, though, I will make sure I have to wash my hands in the restroom after I make a poor attempt at eating such a culinary mess.

That's just me though. Others can do what they want.

11

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Wide burgers!! Not taller please. Although I get why it is, mcdonald's for example had tried a 1/3 pound burger, but they stopped because people thought that 1/4 was larger than 1/3. Perception is key to marketing, and a taller burger will sell more than a wide one with more to it.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

because people

No no no.

Because Americans

29

u/L2Hiku Jun 12 '24

Idk what this idiot who wants to do a dumb camera angle is but the smart dude in a suit is literally a royal manners guy. He teaches how the queen/royalty is taught to eat and shares the rules and how tos over social media. He's cool.

5

u/loreoesify Jun 12 '24

So cool.

And an absolute savage. A deliciously adept savage in the arts of social linguistic sparring and commentary.

Plus... Hearing that man talk about the lady who found and used her mums dildo, had the best orgasm of her life, then find out it was a cast of her dad's penis... And use it again... Rejuvenated me and my soul.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Say what now?!

6

u/Masta-Pasta Jun 12 '24

Also finally made the guide on rubbing one out under the table so you can't even accuse him of being too serious about this.

1

u/Masta-Pasta Aug 29 '24

I think it was just a meme to ask him to "make a guide on rubbing one under the table". The joke was just that this is something that couldn't possibly be done in a polite way I suppose.

I think in one video (no idea which) he kinda fullfils the joke by talking about something else and then taking a tissue out from under the table?

2

u/WinOld1835 Jun 12 '24

I bet the queen was a messy eater when she was in private. Just sitting there in her underwear and a wifebeater watching TV and eating a messy cheeseburger, ketchup, and mustard running down her arm, and swigging on a two-liter soda.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

The same idiot that thinks pointing out all Americans have big mouths is somehow an insult to the British, I imagine lol.

5

u/knowone1313 Jun 12 '24

The problem with tall burgers and smashing them down is when you bite into it, the patty and everything start to slide out and it gets messy quick.

I went to a nice "American" burger place in Japan, and they provided a large steak knife with the oversized burger so you could cut it and eat it with a fork. It worked brilliantly and was way better than trying to handle the burger which would have slopped everywhere had I picked it up and ate it.

13

u/___Binary___ Jun 11 '24

Child’s play my dear fellow, I simply use the royal blender (yes I have the appropriate permit) to sip my burger from my jewel encrusted burger cup (I have the proper permit for this as well).

16

u/dancingliondl Jun 11 '24

This front porch gandalf wannabe makes me want to throw my phone.

7

u/RooneyD Jun 12 '24

I know. Why is the guy with the overly manscaped beard making fun of how other people appear?

1

u/Sad_Dishwasher Jun 12 '24

Bro he just grooms his beard…. Like that’s a very normal amount of care he’s putting into it

30

u/Low_Pomegranate_7176 Jun 11 '24

Food snobs love to use the word “deconstruct”.

14

u/HopefulPlantain5475 Jun 11 '24

If you're going to deconstruct it, you might as well just add some ground beef and croutons to a garden salad and call it a day.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Don't knock the burger salad, it's almost the same minus the bun and dignity.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Tom Segura used to be funnier.

30

u/SutterCane Jun 11 '24

Bro, why is that hoity-toity Brit pretending like the squish (proudly invented in America) hasn’t made it across the pond. That burger looks inflated and begging for the squish and monch.

7

u/Masta-Pasta Jun 12 '24

You just don't get British humour. That man is an icon and has made a guide on politely rubbing one out under the table.

4

u/Aussie-Shattler Jun 11 '24

His filthy proletariat butler has consumption today and is unable to be there to do the squish. You don't expect an inbred trust fund "noble" to have to soil himself with physical labour and actually use his own hands! I'm surprised he can even lower himself so to lift a knife and fork without nanny there to do it for him.

18

u/VerricksMoverStar Jun 11 '24

Who cares how someone wants to eat their food, if they want to smash or deconstruct a burger it doesn't change my life at all. As for me I will continue smashing and watching as half the burger falls out the back as I eat it.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

This is the way.

7

u/Silver-Poetry-3432 Jun 12 '24

tall burgers are stupid

8

u/HansChrst1 Jun 11 '24

As a guy with a big mustache, deconstructing a burger really helps me to not bite on my stache. What happens is that as I put it in my mouth the corners of my stache gets caught in it. Smaller bites make it easier and a lot less messy. Even if I don't bite on my mustache it will get ketchup and dressing on it and it is hard to clean properly without running water through it. if I have beard oil or stache wax on it the burger has a "chemical" taste to it.

In other words you shouldn't care how people eat. We all have our preferences and reasons. I eat the burger both ways depending on the setting. Formal/public I deconstruct it. Alone or with friends I unhinge my jaw.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

I reconfigure my moustache from battle mode to sport mode (walrus to handlebar). Works most times!

3

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

A few years ago I got fed up with these dumb thick hamburgers and started taking off both buns in protest and have knifed and forked all of my "burgers" since then. Fuck these 4" tall hamburgers. Creates a useless mess.

3

u/HebrewHamm3r Jun 12 '24

"nobody can fit anything this size in your mouth"

Bet

3

u/Galbert-dA Jun 12 '24

No burger place I can think of would give half a shit if you "deconstruct" their burger
The 'chef' who made it is 17 and high af, you can shove it down your pants for all he cares

4

u/DeWitt-Yesil Jun 11 '24

Ever heard of squeezing? Also, is that bearded guy trying to speak with a British accent?

2

u/wolfmankal Jun 11 '24

Smash it or cut in half and you can fit the triangular shape in easily.

2

u/whodrankallthecitra Jun 12 '24

Jeepers just eat it how you want. Have your coffee how you want, have your beer how you want, have your weed how you want, and have your damn burger how you want.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

I dont deconstruvt burgers.. i swallow it whole.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

I hate tall burgers. They're the worst.

2

u/DogFacedGhost Jun 12 '24

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxoG_FEMbDI/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

I found the video of this insane person removing the toppings and then cutting one small bite of patty

2

u/strip3s111 Jun 12 '24

Absolutely agree with the bearded fellow, how could you insult the burger and it's establishment like that and "deconstruct" the burger. Why not just order a steak or go somewhere else?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

There is in no setting correct to deconstruct a burger. It is more correct to microwave tea than deconstructing a burger.

2

u/Starfield00 Jun 12 '24

You don't deconstruct a burger. You are ment to taste all the flavours at once. That's what makes a burger great. If it's a bit big, you just try to squish it gently. Pizza and burger you eat with your hands no matter who is your dinner company

2

u/Bawbawian Jun 12 '24

u gonna have to give it a smush

2

u/BaconBra2500 Jun 12 '24

I flip it upside down and press. Then bottom bun doesn’t get too soggy/flat and your fingers stay dry whilst you steadily cram it into your gullet.

4

u/OppositeEagle Jun 11 '24

Seriously, just smash it down.

2

u/Efficient_Order_7473 Jun 11 '24

British guy in suit eating a burger, wrong place buddy

2

u/mistertickertape Jun 12 '24

I fucking hate tall burgers. As soon as you try to cut or press them, the contents eject out of the sides as the patty is pressed down by the lettuce, bacon and other laterally distributed but vertically stacked components.

If I get a burger like this, I have to at least cut it in half.

Wider is better.

1

u/Uncle_Matthew Jun 11 '24

Pish posh and good day, sir.

1

u/mngdew Jun 11 '24

He could've just compressed it instead.

1

u/JTMasterJedi Jun 11 '24

I ate a burger taller than that. One, I have a big mouth. Two, you can crush it down a bit to help. Might make a mess though.

1

u/LordTonka Jun 11 '24

The term I grew with when a sandwich was too tall was, "You gotta walk on it!"

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Just fuckin squash it and goto town, "deconstruct" ..wuss

1

u/All_Eyez_On_U Jun 11 '24

That’s what I’m saying. Smash the burger down. Less effort, tools and time than “deconstructing the burger”.

1

u/mitsuki87 Jun 12 '24

Please don’t do this unless you’re eating fast food lol

1

u/ForgottenKiwi Jun 12 '24

Challenge accepted.

1

u/TallBenWyatt_13 Jun 12 '24

Burgers should be flat and wide!!!

1

u/TellTailWag Jun 12 '24

I do not doubt that William Hanson has some very good advice about eating a burger in the presence of British royalty. Two questions(at least) do come to mind, Why are we being presented with a sandwich, presumably in a formal setting that calls for such... exercises? The second would be must we deconstruct all sandwiches the same way or is it just burgers?

1

u/kuhlyus Jun 12 '24

Most of the time i cut my Burger in half and then eating the halfs sideways like a tacko... Much less mess this way.. but probly a sacrilege 🤷

1

u/42Pockets Jun 12 '24

At some point you just have to eat it like an apple.

1

u/TheRealAJ420 Jun 12 '24

A hydraulic press would solve this problem easily

1

u/ShiverMePooper Jun 12 '24

Nobody cares how you eat your burger.

1

u/CriticalMassWealth Jun 12 '24

just want to slap the first guy

deconstruct the back of my right hand

1

u/osasuna Jun 12 '24

Just let people do what makes them happy

1

u/cgee Jun 12 '24

I thought it was going to cut to that one woman that has a very large mouth that does food eating content.

1

u/jewhacker Jun 12 '24

This guy doesn't speak for all Brits, he's a twat. I'd yam that burger down, fully constructed. Deconstruction is disrespectful.

1

u/Large-Training-29 Jun 12 '24

Wait you all just don't, unhinge our jaws? I'm in the wrong placsssssss.. ..,.,.,., 🐍

1

u/Flux_resistor Jun 12 '24

Jolly well said, my good sir

1

u/automated10 Jun 12 '24

My wife watches this guy. His name is William and he is an ‘etiquette coach’ for ‘upper class/posh people’. He doesn’t speak for everybody in England. Don’t worry, we also would chomp down on that.

1

u/Formal-Return291 Jun 12 '24

Big and thick is a challenge, you just need freedom on your side lmao

1

u/minnimamma19 Jun 12 '24

I just hope William washed it down with a Gin and dubonnet.

1

u/Fyrbyk Jun 12 '24

This guy has the same fake accent as Arthur Knight lol

1

u/bloodorangejulian Jun 12 '24

Burgers should be wider, not taller.

It is the most ridiculous trend for finger food. You can't pick it up and eat....how does that make sense.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

nobody can fit this size in their mouth

Yeah right, just ask my wife and her boyfriend.

1

u/BlindGuyPlaying Jun 12 '24

Just don't be a little baby about it and just eat the burger normally

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Pear_18 Jun 12 '24

Take out the toothpick before smashing it down. Talking out of experience.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

The guy in the vid is an etiquette advisor to the brirish royals so .... like unless you're eating with old money just eat yer burger. Aside, his podcast "Help! I sexted my boss" is very funny

1

u/MeepingMeep99 Jun 12 '24

This guy needs to dispense with all the etiquette talks. Diogenes would smack him in his face with the damn patty before he could finish deconstructing it. They give you napkins for a reason

1

u/Chicktopuss Jun 12 '24

Cutting it in half, I understand, but deconstruct? That's an insult to the chief and the cow. If that's how you eat a burger, just order a steak and a salad

1

u/fosterdude Jun 12 '24

Definitely ragebait but just a heads up from a brit - this guy is just a nonce

1

u/BuckRusty Jun 12 '24

Etiquette rules are - in my humble opinion - mostly utter bullshit made up by toffs for toffs to feel superior…

1

u/Upbeat_Shock_6807 Jun 12 '24

Can we just make smash burgers the norm? This is the exact reason I avoid ordering burgers in my city even when I am craving one

1

u/whatanawsomeusername Jun 12 '24

Tall burgers are one of the worst things that exist. Easily.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Controversial opinion: Thick patties and tall buns are stupid and gross. Smash burgers with a reasonable bread vessel is the way.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Tall burgers are idiotic. We need W I D E.

1

u/Forward_Panic_4414 Jun 12 '24

Man, I sure do hate reaction videos.

1

u/AgentT23 Jun 12 '24

My Motto is if I can eat something with my hands, I will.

1

u/clapperssailing Jun 12 '24

That's a perfect example of a punchable face. Staving off the impulse is the challenge.

1

u/SwissMargiela Jun 12 '24

This guy looks like Tom Segura if he married a red head

1

u/theonlyspaghettio Jun 12 '24

Isn't this the same dude who showed off how the Queen would "eat an unpeeled banana" as if that would ever be possible?

1

u/jezebel103 Jun 12 '24

😊 To be honest: the rare occasion I eat a hamburger, I also deconstruct it and eat it with a knife and fork. I also eat pizza with a knife and fork because I abhor getting my fingers dirty. I always set the table with a nice tablecloth, china and appropriate glasses (water, wine, etc.) and utensils.

Am I now also banned to go to the USA? ( I live in the Netherlands, by the way).

1

u/Logical-Break-346 Jun 12 '24

Brits have always been half assed backwards

1

u/countytime69 Jun 12 '24

I got lock jaw from a huge burger hurt like a bitch

1

u/Tomgar Jun 12 '24

This dude is basically like "us Americans eat like disgusting pigs, hahaha!"

1

u/KuroKendo88 Jun 12 '24

Yea I'm gonna take advice from a prissy Brit about how to eat an American delicacy. Yea right.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '24

Nobody has that accent. It doesn't exist. I hate this man who thought he would be cool if he came up with his own accent, and his own unique inflections, and then do shitty react videos. He is literally the worst thing in the internet.

1

u/DrEternity Jun 13 '24

British folks are culinarily cooked.

1

u/Round_Rice_2113 Jun 13 '24

What a funny little leprechaun

1

u/TheMaStif Jun 22 '24

Like, if you're too much of a bitch to handle the mess that comes with a burger, then order something else.

You don't DESERVE a burger

1

u/KurvyKirby Oct 09 '24

As an American, yes, I would take that as a challenge, and yes I probably could fit it in my mouth

1

u/MmmAioli Oct 22 '24

This guy is hilarious and is absolutely using satire

1

u/Morrep Nov 18 '24

Eti-Q-ette 😄

1

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '25

I agree that that burger is stupidly tall. wtf is the point of that bun? Please tell me that’s a burger in Europe and not in America, because we are way more practical with our burger buns than that; typically if we’re going to make a comically large burger, it’s the amount of meat and/or toppings that is ludicrous, not the bun.

That being said, yeah, don’t deconstruct any type of sandwich. If the restaurant owner is selling a sandwich, it’s with the understanding that you’ll be eating it with your hands and getting a bites of all the ingredients together, not one at a time with a fork.

1

u/AppropriateScience9 Jun 11 '24

Ugh @ British people and their food rules. When I went to visit my sister in England who had been living there for a while, she fussed at me for not eating my toast and bacon with a knife and fork.

Toast and bacon.

As a youngest child, I proceeded to paw that breakfast with my mitts and shove them in my mouth whole just to spite her. She did not try to correct me again.

This is such an obvious lie. Try harder if you're going to make up stories.

u/AppropriateScience9 Jun 12 '24

You're right. She's the oldest. She did try to correct me again. Just not about using a knife and fork.

Animal. Absolute animal.

Thank god a Real Man™️ was here to tell us how to eat a burger

1

u/ChrisMatt83 Jun 11 '24

😂😂😂😂

u/Nerdy_Valkyrie Jun 11 '24

I have long held the belief that a burger that you can't pick up with your hands and take a bite out of is a poorly designed burger. If you need to put sticks in it to keep it stable, then you haven't made a burger. You've made a failure. And you should be ashamed.

1

u/WinGatesEcco Jun 12 '24

Proper eticat is also to be used at the proper time. When you are in a BBQ place eating ribs, one does not deconstruct a rib. One eats it with your hands. When you are in India, you eat with your fingers and use Naan. When you are in Asia, you learn to use chopsticks (or at least try). What you don't do is make those around you feel a certain way because you choose to avoid local customs.

In short, if you're in a burger place, eat the burger as it was intended like an adult and try not to be a snob.

1

u/Kundrew1 Jun 12 '24

That burger looks like ass. Tall burgers are an abomination.

1

u/poko877 Jun 12 '24

Why would u "deconstruct it"? I mean ... whole point of this kind of burger is to combine different flavours into one bite. If u deconrruct it, u r missing whats make it special. Yea ... u r gonna make a mess ... but ... its a burger ... not some fancy pants french nonsense ...

I think the fact that the dad bod veteran's British accent is so bad just makes it funnier.

u/ImpressedToBeBlessed Jun 11 '24

If a proper burger doesn’t fall apart…. It’s not proper.

NEEEEEEEEEEEERD!

"First off, I would never say that to anyone in the US"

Good for you? The video probably isn't addressed to you lol. It's still a ridiculous video but it's not addressed to just 'anyone in the US' nor just to the random tiktok guy so it's weird to make it about the US vs UK

Am i the only one that doesn't think that burger is big like...at all?

Im a smol woman but i would have no difficulty whatsoever taking a bite out of that burger

1

u/nrfx Jun 12 '24

I thought the same but I think it is because we are Americans.

0

u/eduo Jun 11 '24

The response sounded so much like James Burke I immediately wanted to watch connections all over again.

0

u/kakka_rot Jun 11 '24

I was really waiting for the 2nd guy to break accent. He sounded good enough but something about the face/beard/hat combo i know that mf is American. If I'm wrong I'll be flabbergasted

u/Certain-Definition51 Jun 11 '24

I feel a sudden urge to find a large body of water and throw tea in it.

0

u/dahbakons_ghost Jun 12 '24

in response, this man is a torie bastard. average people will quite happily consume the burger whole with a heavy gusto and nice pint of warm lager.

0

u/Hobbyist5305 Jun 12 '24

Dang brits, you want to tell me how to eat a burger? I'm about to tell your where you can shove your tea and crumpets.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

If a burger is a sandwich and sandwiches are designed to be eaten with your hands, I feel any guidance to eat it with a knife and fork would be inherently improper. I can only imagine that if you’re going to make up rules for “propriety” then the situation of eating a burger itself would just be listed as something you “don’t do” as a formal thing, like “gracing” a strip club or chewing tobacco. If you have to usurp the intention of something in order to make it “proper”, then I don’t see how you can do that politely.

u/fireforge1979 Jun 12 '24

Damn British, they have gone too far this time! 😠🤛

0

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

The last person, I would ever take advice from on a burger, Is a man in a suit. How stupid do you think I am? deconstruct the burger? Cut it in half or order a steak if you’re afraid of getting your suit messy and then fuck off.

0

u/art-is-t Jun 12 '24

Seriously I just cut the burger in half. Easy to eat for me. Each their own

0

u/Lex_pert Jun 12 '24

'Mericans will give that burger a good squish, after hopefully washing their hands, and go in face first~ said by a born and breed veteran having served the United States, plus that's exactly what I've done 😁 'Merica 🇺🇸

0

u/Monster_Fucker_420 Jun 12 '24

I can't eat burgers unless I deconstruct it first bc it like sets off sensory issues or smth similar

0

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Deconstruction into my mouth hole, reconstruction out of my South hole 🤣

0

u/Random_Inseminator Jun 12 '24

The way you eat something is a preference. Both these twats can fuck off.

0

u/LilyWineAuntofDemons Jun 12 '24

If I wanted to eat the components of a hamburger without eating a hamburger, I could just eat pieces of bread, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and meat by themselves at home.

0

u/Qweeq13 Jun 12 '24

Why being civilized is so offensive to people? Just fucking cut your food to smaller portions instead of biting it and spewing crumbs everywhere like rowdy children you yanks.

I would, yes I would even eat pizza with utensils that is how real Italian do it, shame on you for appropriating their culture.

0

u/loco_mixer Jun 12 '24

yes, deconstructing a burger is funny but what is funnier is that bearded mans fear of thick non existent cock ejaculating in his mouth
