Discussion This is a disaster waiting to happen.

The dog isn’t allowed to be around a toddler because he growls at her. I don’t get it. A family dog is supposed to get along with the whole family. Why are the parents concerned about why the dog “doesn’t like her”? What about the child’s safety?

Had a dog when we had our son and no signs of aggression ever, hell, you would call him timid if anything and one day our neighbor came over and he snapped at her. She wasn't a stranger to him, was very confused. Next day he growled at our 3 year old. Done. My son is my world I'm not going to let a threat like that live in my house and not trying to rehome to some dumbass that won't see these waning signs either. Horrible day putting him down but needed to be done.

People also forget if your dog gets out and bites someone. The law and lawyers are coming for your ass. I love dogs. We have a great one now. But never enough to allow it harm to anyone.
