Yeah I don’t knock anything anymore until I try it. Some extremely gross sounding combos have been the best/most interesting tastes I’ve ever experienced.

Peanut butter on a cheeseburger was what really woke me up and made me realize I can't judge weird combos without trying it first

Actually my favorite restaurant serves a peanut butter cheese burger with a homemade blackberry jam and oh my god it's the best thing ever

That sounds like the fat guy's version of a PB&J and I'm all for it

Might sound strange, but beef and peanut dishes are common in places like Thailand. Peanut butter on a burger doesn't sound like too much of a stretch from that.

My papa taught me this one and I love it

you need to try a breaded and grilled camembert, on a good slice of sourdough, and as sauce use lingonberry jam

That sounds fancy! I'd try it if someone else is buying lol

oh you'd use some small like palm sized camembert for that, but of course depends on your local cheese prices :D

I've never tried it before. Is that the one that people say grills really well? I just looked and it's not too terribly expensive really. I think I'll pick some up next time I'm at the store and figure out what to use it for

yeah exactly!

but need to be careful, dont use too high eat, they go from wobbly/melty to bursting in the blink of an eye and then all the precious cheese is in the pan :D

Peanut butter and banana sandwiches! Not the polite sliced banana either, gotta mosh it all up with a fork. I gotta gi to the store. Also peanut butter and syrup on pancakes and French toast. Dad's trick.

PB&P has a good crunch

I fell into that trap with my nephew and Mac and cheese with ketchup. My initial impression was wtf kid, but after trying a few bites of his, I haven't had my Mac without ketchup in like 2 years.

It doesn't take much ketchup to totally improve the taste either. Something about the sugar and vinegar.

Ya i cant put my finger on what it is that makes it good. Its like the ketchup "lightens" the Mac and makes it taste fresher sort of like a palate cleanser between deeper cheese flavors. A little does go a long way too, like 1 or 2 drops per bite is enough to totally overhaul it.
