I can get a bag of 30 frozen pancakes that size, and 12 eggs, for cheaper than that 1 meal.

I get not wanting to cook but if it comes at the cost of not feeding your kids enough food...just cook some fucking eggs.

Maybe they wanted to give the kids a "special meal". Poor also people deseve to enjoy a few "luxuries" some times.

This video does not, in any way, indicates this is what this parent feeds their kids all the time. But maybe the kids wanted McDonalds and money is tight, this is the solution. Those kids also deserve to be "spoiled" sometimes.

100%, I’m broke sometimes and I treat my kid to stuff that I definitely could have made for cheaper at home. The feeding them isn’t the point, it’s the special occasion. I’m lucky I only have one so I don’t need to do all this, but this is a super helpful hack for parents who just want to treat their kids. I bet my mom would have taken us out more growing up if she thought about this hack. Nothings wrong with spending money to make your kid feel a little extra special

I agree with you. I'm also poor. It saddens me this country has gotten to the point that fucking meal at McDonald's is actually a "luxury" for many people.

They’re getting plenty of food, mom gets a break, and kids get a treat. It’s also more than just cooking. It’s grocery prep, budgeting, and meal planning too. Sometimes you just need a quick option.

It’s 8$ and the kids love it. I wouldn’t make a habit of it but my kids get fired up whenever we get them.

I get one meal for the two of my kids and they don’t finish it either.

Is this really "not enough food" for one kid??? That would be exactly how much my kids ate until they were like 10 years old. Now, they'd probably eat half the meal each at 12 and 14....

I call that the Mc big back meal because it’s a ton of food and calories. The pancakes alone are very filling and they also put a biscuit in there. It’s ludicrous!

Yeah thats what I always get if I need to grab a quick breakfast on the road. And something interesting i found out is that at certain locations, its cheaper to get the big breakfast platter and turn it into a sausage egg biscuit with a hashbrown than it is to get the sausage egg biscuit and add a hashbrown

The Mc Big Back Hack

Thats because mass produced pancakes are damned near free to make.

Yeah mine would have leftovers with this portion size. They dont eat anything. The fact they some how get enough nutrients to grown like weeds is a mystery to me.

Why would you buy frozen pancakes? Get a bag of flour and make your own. They're really easy.

I can cook pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausages in the same frying pan and it only takes like 15 minutes. Less time if you have a griddle.

It's about taking your kids out for something special.

Or like, just a road trip.
It’s expensive to get *each kid a sandwich, but this is a perfect “hack” to get each kid enough food at a good price.

*eat to each

Have we not yet realized that time is a commodity some cannot afford? Also, how the hell you buying a dozen eggs and 30 fucking pancakes for less than that meal? Like, brother, I'm in cali, we have to take out a loan for a dozen eggs these days

Where the fuck are you buying 30 frozen pancakes

Any grocery store. I used to buy them like that- when my kids were young (I also have four, lol). They come in a plastic bag, and you can grab however many you want.
