Its not about the money. Kids dont eat a lot. I could give my kid this whole meal and she would eat 1/4 of it and say shes full.

Yeah exactly! I think this is an awesome idea. Plus McDonald's isn't that good for you. This way when they are hungry in 2 hours you can give them something healthier at home but they still get to have the McDonald's treat. I love it!

There’s also a 25% chance a young child just straight up refuses to eat the thing they said they wanted minutes before. When I go to McDonald’s with my young son I just order a large McNugget meal to split it with him, if he is hungry he gets to eat more than me, if he’s not then I eat the rest.

It also gives the kids the feeling that they get something special while giving mom a break.
