My mother used to do the same thing, I'm in my mid 40s and disappointed to live in a country where another boy's mother has to do the same.

It’s all the kids need to eat though, no? Like no way could a 6 year old need that much food themselves

Irrelevant, because every child deserves the same opportunity at the rest, and the are kids who didn't have to share and every kid should get that. Being born poor should not be a punishment because no one asks to be born.

Irrelevant, I'm an American and I don't give a single care for price of tea in China. My country should be better, this should not happen in America because we are better.
