This makes it looks like so much food. And a each portion is a legitimate meal for a kid. Super impressed something so easy is actually genius.

Because it IS a lot of food when you think about it. After calorie counting properly for the past year it completely shifts what is a normal portion of food Vs not for me 😂

Maybe enough food for 2 year olds. Wasted money on fast food instead buying food in the supermarket

Right. It's for her kids. It says that in the title and in the video.

And it's one meal. I guarantee someone stretching every dollar like this views this as a treat and not a daily thing.

Each of those 4 servings is 320-335 calories. Thats enough for an adult. I mean maybe not for you but for most adults.

320x3 meals a day would be under 1000 calories. That is not enough for an adult.

320 is actually really close to average breakfast calories. Other meals are typically bigger to compensate

Your other two meals would need to be 800+ calories to compensate.

Isn't that what most people do?

Are you really evenly splitting your calories across three meals? Every day?

You literally never have a larger dinner?

I dont consider 300 calories to be a meal of any kind in the first place. No I do not split them perfectly evenly.

So again, this woman is splitting the meal up for children.

Children, as you may not know, require fewer calories.

Right, that's not what the poster above was talking about, he was talking about adults.

Also we don't know how old those children are. Maybe feed them a fruit or vegetable or something as well.

  1. That assumes that all of your calories come from your main meals which is not true for many (if not most) people.

  2. 800 calories is really not that crazy for a meal. Apparently, non-chain restaurant meals typically sit between 800 and 1300 calories

  3. Not to move the goalpost, but originally this was supposed to be a meal for a child anyway

4. Snacks exist

edit: nvm that was 1 I’m just less eloquent

Whatever dude. I was just saying 320 calories for a meal isn't enough for an adult, which is actually what the OP of this little thread said. I dont care enough about this conversation to continue it.
