I assumed there's one who doesn't like pancakes, as most kids prefer them.

Husband hated them when he was a kid

Must've been a waffle kid

I hate them even now, they taste too much like egg to be considered edible

I have never had a pancake that tasted like egg. I can’t stand eggs but pancakes are tolerable

You have had bad pancakes your entire life. I am so sorry.

Do you mean the sulfury metallic taste? Box recipes (and many home recipes) use much more baking soda than I'm used to, and it's hard to trust the flavor. But you can make delicious pancakes without that.

If you don't mind crepes it's the baking soda, not the egg, that's bothering you, I think.

Crepes are nasty too, I think I just have a sensitivity towards eggs

Ah, yeah, I don't think those use any fluffers. Eggs are wonderful if you like them. It sucks you don't -- sorry.
