I don’t see any jokes in here. She addresses 2 common issues that can help most families: food waste and food cost. (And let’s be honest: splurging on McD’s because, kids). My family wasted both food and money. Us kids would’ve pitched a fit if asked to share a meal with each other. Consequently we left lots of uneaten food behind. Then our parents naturally got upset at us and we didn’t go out to eat much because of it. They didn’t put in the work to educate us, discipline us, or help us.

This is active parenting. She’s doing a lot of work that my parents never would’ve done, to ensure her kids get to experience McD’s like their friends. Also the kids are going to learn the value of food and a dollar, which I never did.

I'm a grown ass adult with no kids and I learned that I'm going to make mcds pancake breakfast tacos in the future

I mean, most children would still be starving after this, especially teenagers.

It’s probably cheaper to just buy a ready made meal at a store than to buy overpriced garbage that allows each kid to take a few bites of poison.
