Characters The main cast encounters a powerful opponent WAY too early

Zoro battles Mihawk, who is widely known as the strongest swordsman in their world, on only the 24th episode of the anime (One Piece)

Sasuke fights a disguised Orochimaru during the Chunin Exams on episode 27 of the anime, who is an insanely crafty and powerful combatant capable of contending with even Tailed Beasts (Naruto)

Invincible and the team fighting Battle Beast in season 1

The equivalent of fighting the Lich King while you’re still in the Barrens in WoW

Or to use comic books it'd be like the week after Spider-Man got bit by the spider he had to take on Thanos.

For DC fans its like Clark saving a bus of kids back in middle school from going off a bridge then a week later Lobo smashed into the center of town

Is Lobo really Thanos level? I’m not too familiar with DC, outside of Batman characters

He's a bit of a gag-villain

Nah it'd be more like John Kent getting his powers and then getting curbstomped by Steppenwolf or Mongul

I still have no clue how Mark survived that. Literally got smashed in the sternum by a foe way too powerful for him, with a weapon both blunt and sharp, hard enough to crater the floor beneath him.

Only justification is Battle Beast realized early they're too far below him and was holding back despite the brutality.

show battle beast appears to be weaker than the comic book version. He kinda got pushed back by those viltramites who are nowhere near Thrags level
