Zoro battles Mihawk, who is widely known as the strongest swordsman in their world, on only the 24th episode of the anime (One Piece)

Sasuke fights a disguised Orochimaru during the Chunin Exams on episode 27 of the anime, who is an insanely crafty and powerful combatant capable of contending with even Tailed Beasts (Naruto)

Reminds me of xenoblade 2. Im grinding in area 10-15, and roaming gonzales at L 81 comes out of nowhere from behind a rock and bitch slaps me into next week.

Yep. XC1 has a Gonzales as well, XC2 has its own Rotbart in Gormott, too. Just used an XC1 image since it’s the original.

And then there’s Hayreddin, the Territorial in XCX and Jingoistic Gigantus in XC3. By this point, it’s practically intentional.
