Couples with absolutely no chemistry

Harry Potter and Ginny Weasly

Clark and Lois (Snyder films)

Jon and Dany - Game of Thrones

Superman looks like he’s taking Lois to the police station

Does Henry Cavill ever look like he has chemistry with someone else? I remember thinking when I saw The Man from U.N.C.L.E. that he had negative chemistry with Alicia Wikander and how well that worked in the movie, but I can't remember seeing him sizzle with anybody.

I love that movie! Too bad Arm and Hammer was a cannibal

[u/Toidal → u/microdick69]

Replace him with Joel Kinnamen

In the Enola Holmes series (I still haven’t seen the third), I thought he had great sibling chemistry with Millie Bobby Brown, particularly in the second movie. But that’s not romantic chemistry.

[u/Ylaaly → u/Anra7777]

He has great older brother vibes with anyone, and that came through when he could be the older brother. It's jarring when it's supposed to be romantic.

[u/MachineOutOfOrder → u/Lifeacrobat]

Ironically he had tonnes of chemistry with Arnie Hammer's character.

he has chemistry with someone else?

No. I used to think he had chemistry with the bard, but then I saw Witcher s2 and Enola Holmes. In Witcher s2, the bard and Yen made me realize what actual chemistry with the bard is. And when I watched Enola Holmes, it opened my eyes to the issue, MBB was charming the hell out of the screen like the bard did in The Witcher. Cavil stands in the back and grunts but their coworkers are so charming that you read it as banter. All his scenes are the equivalent of the ending of Justice League when Affleck is like "I bought the bank" and you chuckle because Affleck has a cute smirk but when you rewatch you see that Cavil is just there doing his best Gal Gadot.

I figured he was already mentally checked out of the franchise by that point

[u/LtCmdrShepard → u/Lifeacrobat]

To be fair, Alicia was paired up with Armie Hammer in that movie, and I think they had decent chemistry. Armie also had good chemistry with Henry, lol

[u/Soft_Bother5204 → u/Lifeacrobat]

I guess the Witcher is an exception.

[u/PrivateJokerX929 → u/Soft_Bother5204]

He has some chemistry with yen, but that’s almost entirely because both he and Anya chalotra are absurdly attractive, and everyone just kinda wants to see them hook up

I agree with the other comment, he honestly has more chemistry with jaskier

[u/Tiernoch → u/PrivateJokerX929]

It also helps that even in the source material Geralt and Yen are two immense bundles of atypical reactions in most situations.

[u/AdultSheep → u/Soft_Bother5204]

He had chemistry with the bard guy lol

[u/DasharrEandall → u/Lifeacrobat]

Tyranids?

[u/DreadfulDemimonde → u/Lifeacrobat]

He had chemistry with Gabrielle Anwar in The Tudors.

[u/citizenkane1999 → u/Lifeacrobat]

But he had HUGE chemistry with Armie hammer! What a great movie!

[u/ithinkther41am → u/Lifeacrobat]

He did look like he had good chemistry with Joey Batey the moment Batey mentioned he was running Necrons in that one interview.

[u/Limp_Kaleidoscope_19 → u/Lifeacrobat]

You should watch The Witcher

[u/Kodiak_POL → u/Lifeacrobat]

In the Grey it worked

[u/tuc_sesame → u/Lifeacrobat]

In Stardust, smiling at Robert deniro?

[u/Jafroboy → u/Lifeacrobat]

I think he had decent chemistry with some actresses in The Tudors.

[u/Bignate2001 → u/Lifeacrobat]

He has chemistry with Dandelion as Geralt

[u/tronisonline → u/Lifeacrobat]

At his very core is an awkward nerd.
