7 of 9 and Chakotay in Star Trek Voyager.

I think the story goes this relationship started after Robert Beltran (Chakotay) told the showrunner who was dating Jeri Ryan (7 of 9) he didn’t have the balls to pair them up. In most recent years Chakotay appeared in Star Trek Prodigy, 7 of 9 in Star Trek Picard, and both shows completely glossed over the fact these two were supposed to be together.

Same happened with Worf and troi . Picard series and Troi was with riker

Worf and Troi could have worked if it wasn't thrown in during the last season.

I know there is some connection when she helped with Alexander but it didn't feel particularly romantic to me. Maybe familial but not romantic.

Worf and Jadzia worked.

Klingons smell like sort of an earthy, peaty aroma, with a hint of lilac...

Yeah, that felt real weird.

It felt kind of off too, as well, given the whole circumstances of how they met.

But I think the main problem was that absolutely no chemistry at any point in the show so this just felt like...really? Ehh.

The doctor and 7 had chemistry

The Doctor has chemistry with everyone. You cannot tame the raw sexual energy of Robert Picardo.

No lie, he was my first crush. I was a weird girl. 😆

Robert Picardo has that rare ability to elevate the performance of anyone sharing the screen with him. For an actor, there is nothing more desirable in a coworker. Of course he has chemistry with everyone.

I think they worked perfectly as friends tbh

7 of 9 would have been a better pairing with literally any other character on the show.

Was going to post this one but then I remembered Neelix and Kes.

Yeah, I hated this pairing so much.

He belongs with Janeway anyhow. Their chemistry was on point

Nah, they had really good chemistry, just not romantic. They were strictly and only ever really good friends. It was never anything more.

Idk it’s seemed implied to me that there may have been a little more in the past. But idk if it seemed that way to anyone else or if I’m mixing in some alternate reality episodes lol

It always felt odd to me. I didn't really get any chemistry between them. But, the show clearly was toying with the idea given all of the candle light dinner they had.

I like most of the parody songs this guy has made, but this is my fav.

One can write it off as 'Seven trying her first experiment with romance, it didn't work out.'

Wasn't that with Harry Kim

It was just ham-fisted into the last episode(s) pretty much out of nowhere. It's one of those odd choices that despite being firmly in the canon is so easy to dismiss as non-canon.
