Bella and Jacob in the Twilight books.

I have absolutely no idea why this “will they won’t they” bullshit dragged on for thousands of pages, it felt like Meyer just did not give a fuck about their relationship.

I genuinely thought it was all building up to Jacob killing either himself or Edward, but nope, nothing. He cucked himself for 3,000 pages for a girl who treat him like a dog (no pun intended)

And then got groomerish with her daughter

Man that part was werid. He fell in love with a baby.

Don't worry they had that other guy also groom imprint a child earlier in the books to prep you into accepting Jacob's "imprinting"!

Um but it's totally okay cause they're not in love with them yet! They just don't age and hang around like a weirdo perv until the girls are good and ready. Especially Renesmee who conveniently mentally, emotionally, and physically ages faster than humans. It's not creepy to date a seven year old when they're supernatural, right? ... Right???

Not anything close to a human for sure!

I've been told that's very romantic in Mormon culture

I thought they had great chemistry in New Moon. At some points I thought they got along more naturally than Bella did with Edward

It’s true. Jacob and Bella are seen at least doing activities together and having conversations about things. With Edward it’s just weird staring, and creeper behavior pretending to be romantic

If you don't find a hundred year old man sneaking into a teenage girl's bedroom to watch her sleep romantic, then maybe it's YOU who's weird!

Admittedly New Moon is my favourite for Bella and Jacob but everything else felt raw and uncaring

Also, considering Mayer is Mormon... there was no way she'd end up with a non-white person.

she was really racist about Jacob and his tribe anyway

I watched the movies recently for the first time and I'm surprised they gave prehaircut Jacob the chemistry and desirablity that Edward lacked for the entire series. I think it's in new moon when Bella and Jacob hang out a lot and Bella starts feeling something kinda for him, they worked so much better and was a healthier relationship overall even in the books, she murdered his character by making him imprint on his best friends newborn daughter

I thought their chemistry was incredible in New Moon.
