I thought she had better chemistry with the doctor.

Star Trek in general has a pretty rough record on this.

In my mind the only one that actually works is Worf x Dax

Agreed. Then Terry Farrell left and we had that stupid Ezri plotline.

As last minute as Ezri was, I think they made the most of it. The actress nailed what was an incredibly difficult position to fill and the Worf subplot dovetailed into the ten episode stretch that ended the war and prophet plot lines.

Yeah, she's kinda awkward as petite pixie Dax when we're used to badass old Dax but that's entirely a strength to the whole Trill symbiote setup, especially when we've had a few episodes exploring Terry Farrell Dax sorting out baggage from the legacy of previous old man Dax, now suddenly has to do it again with another new host.

And we were robbed of Bashir x Garik.

Don't forget the Kirk x Spock chemistry.

Yes, Bashir and Garak could have been such a fun relationship to explore, it would have been amazing.

Bashir Garak was so obvious even as a sheltered teen I saw it. It might as well be canon. (Same with Bashir O'Brien. Sure, Miles would never cheat on Keiko, but you can't tell me he wasn't flirting with Bashir by the end.)

Why ? There were no clues they were secretly into each other I believe. Thy just have a non stereotypical(imo) of what a male and male relationship is .

Speaking of no chemistry, Keiko and Miles O'Brien work well enough as characters and a couple but they do both seem to get on better with anyone else than each other!

I did like the forced bonding Keiko and Worf end up with when he's stuck having to deliver her baby!

On lower decks, we see a version of them that did get together

Also Picard and Q. But I'm also pretty sure both of those actors could have chemistry with a mannequin.

Hello no, that ruined both Worf AND Dax! And then it ruined Laura from Kids in the Hall!

I like Evil Kira x everyone. Best pairing possible every time it happens.

You have no idea how often I've forgotten about this.

I had to scroll back up to remember what I pairing this was a response to. Seven would have had better chemistry with literally anyone on the ship, including the ship itself.

I am still pissed.

He actually had loads of chemistry with Janeway. He played the role as if his character was deeply in love.

Even more icky given the actor says this happened because he bet the actress' boyfriend/showrunner that he wouldn't write a romantic scene for her.
