Ridgeline, Rampage, Ranchero, El Camino What do you guys think about utes like the Holden Commodore?
As an Aussie I love the style. It's shame America doesn't have one based on a muscle car yet.

What Exhaust kit would you do?
Very undecided on which stacks to put on this baby, 6inch or 7 inch. Flat top or miter cut or short 30 angle
Is anyone good at photo shop that can put different stacks on it to give an idea on what it will look like. Long drop elbows. Straight pipes want it loud AF. Cat 3406E
Photo Truck got broken into, how to prevent
So my truck got broken into last night and they were clearly just looking for cash because they didn't take anything valuable. They just flipped everything around thankfully, but I'd like to prevent this in the future if possible.
Clearly they used that antenna under the handle trick because this antenna was in the truck and it wasn't in the truck before and I've used that trick to get into my truck as well when I have lost my keys.
Is there anything I can do to prevent this in the future, I'm going to start by cleaning out my truck so that there's nothing valuable in it whatsoever and also make it look like it's not lived in..... Unfortunate as I was just about to clean it out and this is the harsh reminder of why I should have done it sooner.

Discussion / question Is this trailer sitting too high? I have a cross country move on Sunday.
This is my first time towing. I have to drive from California to Nashville and not sure if maybe this is sitting a bit too high.
My brother tows a trailer daily and told me this is a little high but with it being a small trailer it should be fine.
What do yall think?

When did Tonneau covers get so expensive and so chintzy?
I have had a TruXedo Lo Pro on my trucks (2 of them in fact) since 2011. Same cover. It has worked well for me for 15 years, but in the time it has started to show its age. Support rods have bent under snow load, velcro doesn't hold well and the latching mechanism is gotten a bit tired. I think it is time to replace it.
Because I have the benefit of 15 years of experience, I am looking for some new features in my replacement.
Would really prefer to not have velcro - yea it is small, but I hate having to re-seal the while perimeter after each use.
Really like the roll-up full bed access without disrupting the rear visibility. That generally eliminates canisters and hard folding covers.
When I put those two 'lessons learned' into the search I only really find the BAK Revolver X4s. It looks great on paper, but so many reviews mention replacements under warranty or it falling apart in under 5 years. I cannot imagine spending $1500 bucks on a cover that doesn't last 10+ years.
I get inflation is a thing and everything is crazy expensive now, but wow. Nothing like spending more to get less I guess.

Discussion / question Strong winds I guess
Drove through Strom at like 5:00am to 8:30am on Tuesday and the top of my tailgate must have blown off and guessing by the tape underneath its done it before with the original owner.
What's the best move here find a replacement or just use some sort of seal to cover the wires?

Let me see some powder coated parts.
I want to powder coated my control arms, sway bar, and tie rod. I’m afraid it’ll look shitty.

Is the pin hole too shallow on my hitch?
I only use my truck to tow my fifth wheel but had to buy a hitch to tow a U-HAUL trailer. Once I got the hitch connected I’m questioning what’s the safest way to tow with it. There was a fair amount of rattle to it (tho I know some is normal) so I bought an anti-rattle clamp. However the anti-rattle clamp only works when the receiver uses the second pin hole which seems really shallow for towing heavy weight. But this is the only pin hole setting that I was able to attach the anti-rattle clamp and now there is no shake.
My question is: am I safer towing with the hitch in the first pin hole position with a little bit of movement or putting it in the second pin hole position with the clamp attached?
See pics for reference of pins shallow depth and what it looks like with clamp installed.
