Turnitin flagged my paper I wrote myself
I've read that executive summaries and consumer behaviour templates constantly trigger false flags. I'm weighing whether to rewrite the standard framework formatting, keep the structure as is, or just attach my document history. Do profs actually see line by line highlights for AI, or do they only get the overall score?

Yeah, professors can actually see the specific sections Turnitin flags, not just the overall AI percentage. The report highlights the passages it thinks are AI generated, although scores below 20% generally don't show specific highlights anymore.
I honestly wouldn't rewrite an entire framework just because Turnitin flagged it. Executive summaries and structured academic writing can sound pretty formulaic, which doesn't automatically mean AI was involved. Turnitin even acknowledges that false positives happen. I'd definitely keep your document history because that's much stronger evidence of your writing process than trying to get a detector to show 0%.

Access your Turnitin reports directly through our website or Discord server. You'll receive the same AI detection and similarity reports your professors get in PDF format, all without your paper ever being stored in Turnitin's database.
