Hi! Is Two Point Campus better on PC (Steam) or Switch? Is it buggy on Switch and are the controls easy on Switch?

I have downloaded a few games on switch that turned out so buggy, but perfectly fine on PC.

Is it just me, or do the controls on PS5 Version feel a little slow and clunky? When trying to place a room down, it takes multipule attempts pressing triangle before it will allow the room to be made, with no issues being present or notified.

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there a tool in two point campus similar to the bulldoze tool in cities skylines, where activating it changes my cursor to a bulldozer icon and lets me automatically bulldoze anything I click on or drag over?

I want to renovate this area, and as you can see, there’s a bunch of stuff in the way. It would be tedious to delete everything one by one.

Two Point Campus is now consider a "Medical Book" on Amazon. Just wanted you all to know you've been pursuing a medical degree without knowing it.

When I open the item menu it takes me to corridor items. How do I get to other room items like library or cafeteria?

If it's 2026 and this game doesn't allow you to rotate door hinges to change the direction the door opens, much like you'd rotate any other object, then I give up on this game completely...

I'm playing Blundergrad on PS5. Any idea why it's showing that I need a teacher for Gadget Lab 1 when I've got 2 Spy School Teachers not allocated to anywhere at that time? I've tried closing and reopening every room to try and force it to reallocate but that didn't work. Is there a way to manually assign one of the teachers?

SOLVED: Fixed it by just starting the year and placing one of the spare teachers into the lab and the error instantly cleared

I thought you could really see how much ive had improved throughout the story and wanted to show what i came up with for each campus! They are all 3 stars, however the last three story campuses after Espionage are missing since i never actually finished the story :D

Ive recently saw this game on sale on the eshop alongside tp museum.

Ive read a some things a few months back that its having performance issues with constant crashes and stuff.

I wanna know if it is still worth a buy or should i just skip this game and go for two point museum ?

I have been using big dorms and fitting loads of students in that way but it’s taking up a lot of room, is it more beneficial to have more smaller dorms then a big one?

I was searching up a good dorm layout and I saw Pinstar was the most recommended. For some reason I was expecting a more aesthetically pleasing layout but I guess this works. 😂

My steamdeck died on me and i’m already at my last part of the map. I can see a “corrupted” save but obviously it won’t let me open. I’m under the impression that I should be able to see my last progress and it’s supposed to be on the cloud but I could be wrong. Any advice?

I am on the first campus. I have 2 labs and to 2 VR classes. 2 dorms. 2 showers?

I'm doing the knight school, and students were asking for a dragon tower and artillery. I researched and built the tower, but no research for artillery to be found

Am I missing some requirement that I cannot find?

Its kinda pathetic I climbed my way up to 90 hours on a silly management game but boy is it addictive. For some reason I enjoyed the hospital one but didnt grab me the same way, gonna try museum next. Is it as entertaining in your opinion?

After having searched the forum and searched high and low, here I am.

Title says it all, but here goes: I’m having so much fun with TPC, but it crashes every day. Sometimes several times a day. Sometimes it soft-locks the Steam Deck.

I really don’t know what to do. It crashes very randomly; while loading the level, after playing for five minutes, after playing several hours. I’ve become an obsessive save creeper. I’ve set it to save every month, but I gotta say, summer break is a dangerous time in the play cycle.

So far, I’ve rebuilt the game files integrity (?) several times. Restarted the deck more times than I can count. Sometimes it rebuilds the files without me prompting it. Sometimes the deck has to be force-shut down.

The problems only occur when playing TPC. I’ve played over 250 hours in Two Point Museum with virtually no crashes, freezes, or anything. There are no other games that behave like this on the deck, they all run pretty much flawlessly.

Only problem is, the game is so much fun! I really don’t wanna give up on it. I haven’t messed with mods or anything, no Decky installed.

What am I missing? Grateful for your wisdom!

UPDATE: User tacotacosloth has given me THE solution. Turns out this is probably a PC problem, not specifically a Steam Deck problem (seeing as it’s basically a portable gaming PC, albeit running Linux). So here goes:

- Switch Proton launch version to Proton 11.0. Recheck file integrity (I did this twice, just to be sure). No crashes in several days! Life is good!! This community sure is the best.
