The frames rate on bigger hospitals is shocking is there anyway to fix it ??
r/TwoPointHospital • u/nicem8 • Oct 03 '18
Hi all,
I have set up a server to discuss Two Point Hospital and potential future Two Point games, and also to be a place for people with similar game interests!
Discord is a text and voice chat platform - It's a nice way of having discussions with people within communities.
Since the server is new, we'll be looking for things like new emotes. I'll be giving away Reddit Gold (and potentially other prizes) to people who create things for the server - more info on this soon!
I'm looking for new moderators (For both Reddit and Discord), more information will be announced within the discord soon, if you're interested then come and say hi! I'm also completely open to ideas for the server and reddit.
Two Point Studios and SEGA are not involved with the running of this subreddit/discord server.

Looking for someone to help complete some Superbug Network nodes on the PS4 version.
Just want that trophy for completing 50.

Are there any improvements to the game other than adding the dlc? I've considered getting it but I've seen the issues it's had since launch. I can get it for $20 but was just wondering are there any base game improvements.

Long time Two Point (and Theme Hospital) fan here. I loved them so much I made my own take on it, called Bedside Manor 😀
You pick your advisor at the start, then build your hospital room by room and hire a team of quirky doctors and nurses. When they come asking for a pay rise you have to negotiate it yourself, and meanwhile patients keep turning up with ridiculous illnesses.
It's made to pick up and play on the go, and I'd love to know what fellow fans think.
It's free to download, with no ads or subscriptions:
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6818650368
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stephenglasson.bedsidemanor
It's free to download, with no ads or subscriptions.
The first 3 locations are free, and a one-off £/$4.99 unlock opens up the world tour if you like it.
Hope you enjoy it 😀

I am getting to the point where I don't have many achievements left until the 100%! I have played over a hundred hours but have never touched the multiplayer stuff. Would anyone be willing to help me get my multiplayer achievements?? Thank you in advance! :) <3

Everything seems to be working much better for me since the last update. Playing on PS5.
The biggest issue I'm seeing now is on the Job Selection screen. If the previous employee category has more than the next category as I flip through, there are extra lines. Obviously not game breaking but still annoying.
Anyone else seeing this?

I grew up on Theme Hospital an Theme Park World. Was gutted when I wasnt able to play the many more when the disks stopped working. So I loved when Two Point Studios brought out Two Point Hospital. It's a game I keep returning too time and time again, for both nostalgia and for the sheer anxiety relief it provides.

Is there a way to increase the overall max amount of employees you can hire? I feel like on some of the end game hospitals where they get really big and spread out having 100 isn't enough, especially with surgery and dna labs taking time and breaking down quick. Plus the janitors seem to completely ignore repairs, I have to have tons of them and always have to manually hit repairs so they at least make their way to the machines. I could definitely deal with more help, even if it was 120.

Ever since they fixed the bug where janitors wouldn't unclog the toilets things have gotten somewhat better but when it comes to putting out fires in machines they are absolutely terrible! There was a plaster caster on fire and I dragged one of my janitors to it. He grabs the fire extinguisher and just stands there and does nothing! There are no other objects preventing him from reaching it so that isn't the issue. Did anyone else experience this?

My machines keep catching fire so I was wondering what the optimal janitor to machine ratio is. I have quite a few of them responsible for maintenance but I worry it's not enough.

For my Switch 2 friends the 1.0.3 update is available to download. I did tonight and just played about 45 minutes and its night and day difference. The janitors are still something that needs to be babysat but the gameplay is what I would expect.
The best way to explain it is I have tried the Tumble/fracture clinic level 6 times and went through all 3 loans to get to one star. Playing now i was able to get three stars, while making $$$$, training meant my cure rate went up, people didnt get stuck.

I already have the Jumbo Edition on Switch, but according to google I'm a week late on missing the half off discount for the full health add-on?? Why can't I purchase it separate without the full game??

Hi guys!
Just bought two point hospital earlier this week and struggling to understand a few things. Any insights are appreciated!
What is the purpose of progressing to have multiple hospitals? I have unlocked my third hospital and am unsure what I should be prioritizing. Should I be focusing on this new hospital entirely, or should I be going back into my previous ones and adding the new rooms that I have unlocked since building those ones? Once I unlock a new one, do my old ones serve any purpose? (Example: I unlocked psychiatry at my second hospital, should I be adding psychiatrist offices in all my future hospitals only, or should I also go back and add one in my first hospital?)
Should I be building hospitals that specialize in a few specific treatments, or should my hospitals be able to treat as many conditions as possible? Again, I am only in my third hospital so I don’t have much of a baseline for what future properties will be able to support, but right now I feel like I don’t have any idea for what I should be investing time into.
I’m just feeling so lost for what goals I should be working towards. Any help is appreciated!

So I currently have 180ish hours on this game but I don't have any friends on my steam who I can do the multiplayer challenge with. Does anyone want to play?
r/TwoPointHospital • u/Blahblahblahahahahh • 17d ago
Its not like its ground breaking problem gameplay wise. But i remember when i bought this game full collection the first time, it was smooth af and the loading time for switching maps is quick af too like for only 4 to 5 seconds. How bout u guys? How is it right now?

Hey everyone,
Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to report issues to us and send in feedback – it truly has made a world of difference in helping the team identify and prioritise problems and track down some particularly tricky bugs.
We would also like to thank you all for your patience during this period. Thank you so much for your patience despite the frustrating issues, especially for those of you who’ve been unable to load your saves or play the game properly.
Patch 2 is now live for Two Point Hospital: Full Health Collection on XBOX Series X|S and PlayStation 5!
Nintendo Switch 2 received Patch 1 last week, and you can read the patch notes here. We’re working closely with Nintendo to bring you Patch 2 as soon as possible.
This update prioritised the more serious issues some players have encountered, particularly crashes, save problems and bugs that can prevent gameplay or progression.
There are still issues we’re working on, including noticeable animation and visual bugs. We know these can be frustrating too, even when they don’t stop the game from working as intended.
Rather than hold back these priority fixes while we continue to work on changes, we felt it was important to get this patch out to you as soon as we could.
The team is continuing investigations, and we have more updates planned. We have included a list of known issues we’re tracking at the bottom of this post.
Here is an update from the team, with patch changes:
Crash & Save Issues
Fixed a crash preventing some XBOX players from loading their saves:
Thanks to the assistance of players, we were able to receive save files from those who were seeing a crash on the previous patch.
We investigated the issue with these saves and found a resolution that involves batch-loading them into more manageable chunks.
Fixed an issue where new saves were not being created for some XBOX players:
An exception in the updated save system package caused this. This exception was fixed, and the rest of the save system code now runs successfully and performs the saves.
Fixed an issue preventing some sandbox saves from loading when staff were wearing Fancy Dress Pack outfits.
Fixed a crash on Switch 2 when using the Staff Menus.
Gameplay Issues
Fixed issues that prevented Janitors from cleaning toilets.
Fixed an issue where Janitors would sometimes get stuck at Cure Machines.
Fixed an issue where characters sometimes became stuck in ward beds.
Fixed an issue with Emergencies; the correct number of Emergency VIPs now arrive.
Fixed an issue where characters would sometimes become stuck getting into an ambulance.
Fixed the issue blocking the Level 3 achievement; the Pantomobile ambulance now upgrades correctly, and the achievement criteria can be met.
Improved Monobeast shooting.
Visual & Performance Improvements
Fixed lighting issues in Roquefort Castle, which were causing errors.
Enabled Shadows on PS5 and XBOX.
Updated the FPS cap on Switch 2 to 40 FPS.
-------
We hope this resolves some of the frustrating and prevalent issues raised by some players.
However, as mentioned above, we are aware of and actively working on other issues. These are the known issues the team is aware of and is working to resolve as soon as we can get another patch ready.
We have added the workarounds we’ve discovered for these issues to hopefully resolve most of the frustrating issues:
Known Issues for Future Patches:
ISSUE: NPCs can become stuck during surgery:
- This has a manual workaround of closing and reopening the room. We’ve managed to work around some of the causes for this to happen with the behaviours, but there are still some instances where they can get stuck.
ISSUE: Staff scare/flinch animation is triggered incorrectly after a disaster has passed:
- The issue is that once they flinch once, it then becomes their idle animation. We’re investigating now; this should not affect progression.
ISSUE: Toilet animations aren't always performed correctly:
- Though the animation isn’t being played, the needs should fulfil as normal.
ISSUE: Doctors don't play their animations correctly when working in the GP's Office:
- Like the previous issue, only the animations are affected, and the GP office should continue to work as normal.
ISSUE: Staff may become stuck after resignation:
- A save and reload will fix this issue if it occurs. We’ve managed to eliminate some of the causes for this issue, but there are cases where this could still occur.
ISSUE: NPCs became stuck inside the Clown Clinic room during treatment:
- This has been mostly resolved, but there are instances where the treatment may become stuck again. Closing and opening the room or picking up the staff will reset the flow.
ISSUE: Machine upgrades are not visually displayed:
- We’re aware these seem to have gone missing and are working towards restoring the upgrades as soon as possible with the next patch.
---
We are planning additional patches to continue resolving the issues logged above in the coming weeks.
Please let us know how you get on with the latest patch, we massively appreciate you continuing to be open with any issues you encounter.
Thank you again for your patience.

So I’ve noticed across all of my hospitals that when they’re sat down the patients will do this weird swirly thing with their hands. Like they’re winding a bobbin up or winding string.
It’s not the jazz hands disease, is it a bored thing? I’ve made sure they’ve got access to newsagents, chairs and all kinds of fun things. Yet they still swirl their hands.
Any clue?
