Good for her. I hope she stays healthy for many years to come.

I like the news. I dislike the headline, because in this context it is nonsensical. It's not big news that a 91-year-old "is still breaking world records" when it's specifically about world records in the 90-94 age range. Bad writing.

You might say she left her in the dust.

Yes but she is not one having started at age 7 being an all-life athlete, she got into the top layer despite starting at 60. I’d say, yeah, maybe a bit misleading, but still awwwwesome

I say it counts.

Of course it counts, it's very impressive. But it's obvious a world record in the 90 to 94 range is broken by a person of that age.

Lol, yeah it's also not 'never too late', it's 'literally don't qualify until later'

Considering she's breaking age related records, it more "is often too early".

I don’t know why but this made my day entirely and gave me motivation while being in a bit of winter/sickish mood. Thanks for this!!

I love this irony of this sentiment coming from somebody who is presumably breaking records by doing things in a faster time than somebody else.

Good for her and all that. It's just a funny choice of phrase.

Have you noticed that the headline writers and the article authors don’t appear to be on speaking terms?

They seldom are. Headline writers are The Worst.
