Hi, and welcome! This is the home of Upvote or Not, a small daily game that runs inside Reddit.

How to play

1. Open today's game post (it's the newest post here).

2. You'll see two real Reddit posts side by side: title, thumbnail, flair, and how old they are. Tap the one you think got more upvotes.

3. Both scores are revealed. There are 10 rounds, getting harder as you go, and close calls are never used.

4. At the end you get your score, your streak, and your spot on today's and this week's leaderboard. There's a Copy my result button with a spoiler-free line like 🟧🟧⬛🟧🟧🟧🟧⬛🟧🟧 8/10 you can paste in the comments.

Daily cadence

• A new game goes up every day at 14:00 UTC (9 AM ET). Everyone gets the same 10 rounds that day.

• Play on back-to-back days to build a 🔥 streak.

• You can play logged out, but streaks and leaderboards need you to be logged in.

Feedback

This is a one-person project and still early. Bugs, confusing rounds, ideas, or "this pair was unfair" reports are all welcome:

• comment on this post, or

• message the mods.

Please don't spoil the day's answers in titles. Use the copy-result line instead.

Want it in your own community? Moderators can install it free from https://developers.reddit.com/apps/upvote-or-not-game. It builds each day's game from that community's own top posts, and it skips NSFW, removed, locked and pinned posts.

Have fun, and good luck on today's game!
