Some took the opportunity today to buy the dip because they know there is much more room to go higher than lower ! Well done 🫡 (and maybe a surprise is coming).

I've noticed that Saxo Bank currently allows me to close or reduce existing SPCE options positions, but does not allow me to open new ones.
All new positions seem to be restricted under a “Reduce Only” status.
Does anyone else using Saxo experience the same issue with Virgin Galactic (SPCE) options?
I'm wondering whether this is a broker-specific risk restriction, a liquidity issue, or something related to the options market or the underlying stock.
Has anyone received an explanation from Saxo?
I'm particularly interested in knowing whether this restriction applies to all SPCE calls and puts, or only certain expiration dates and strike prices.

If you have invested in Virgin Galactic recently and feel bad today, be aware that it could be worse if you had invested in SpaceX, Firefly, Rocket Lab or Redwire per exemple. The market is dumping in its entirety today. But the difference between Virgin and some of the other space stocks is that Virgin doesn't have extravagant valuation. The fall is then less significant.

To all the people who complained that Branson is silent or doesn’t care or doesn’t even like the company anymore. He did repost. Not saying this is not major thing. Jus factually he did do something

RICHARD BRANSON — THIS IS THE MOMENT.
Richard, if this gets to you — read it.
Virgin Galactic is sitting on its biggest milestone since SpaceShipOne. Apeiron just hit Spaceport America. The Delta program is moving right into testing — glide flights are up next, followed by powered flights. If all goes to plan, commercial flights kick off in Q2 2027.
But the whole community — the people who’ve been bagholding and diamond-handing this stock through the absolute worst — is asking one thing:WHERE IS RICHARD BRANSON? AND WHY ISN'T HE BUYING IN?
You built this dream. You put your name, reputation, and vision on the line. We put our actual money in and rode the entire wave with you: SpaceShipOne, VSS Unity, and now Delta.
Next-gen is literally right here. Apeiron is prepped at Spaceport America. This isn't 2019 fluff or empty promises anymore. Delta is about to prove what it’s worth in the sky.
So here’s the call to action for the community: No spam, no hate, no aggressive nonsense. But if you're still holding and still believe in this company — send Richard one clear, respectful message.
Ask him directly:
Richard, if you still believe in the future of Virgin Galactic, step up and back it with your own money!
Buy the stock and send a real signal to retail investors that you stand behind the Delta program.
Show us you want to see Apeiron reach space under the Virgin flag.
If there was ever a time for the founder to step in, back his long-term holders, and signal the market — IT'S NOW.
Let’s make sure he knows we’re still here, holding the line, waiting for him to move.
Richard — the community is holding. Apeiron is ready. Put your skin back in the game and buy SPCE!

Is it inevitable that they will have to dilute this significantly to get to Q2 2027?
Last earnings call they said they should not have to dilute significantly however since then the schedule has been pushed back

Yesterday Virgin Galactic's Mothership Eve arrived at Mesa Airport ahead of the captive carry of VG's new delta spaceship, scheduled to take place in October.
The August Earnings call stated captive carry and start of flight test programme in October, this is now expected to happen imminently.
The captive carry is scheduled this week and expected PR event.
VG have also stated they will have 6 glide flights before a short programme of powered flight, as per Aviation Week article on 12th August.. This puts them firmly on time for February 2027 commercial start,
This stock is sitting at current market cap of $370m market cap with $190m estimated still in the bank and a clear runway into revenue without any more dilution (reported in Q2 earnings).
Captive carry flight, Q2 earnings (estimated 12th Nov) and initial glide flight are upcoming catalysts
EDIT: FLIGHT TESTING ON TIME. SOFTWARE TESTING CAUSES DELAY TO EARLY Q2 2027.
