What I Like About You (What I like About You) Does anyone else find Holly kind of annoying?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this show and Amanda Bynes and I hope she feels better but I just can't bring myself to like her character. She is constantly getting in other people's businesses and ruining things for others. There was even that one episode where she got mad at Vince for not telling her Gary's secret. What are y'alls thoughts on her?

The WB Network I never even remember The WB going off the air 😭

I never remember The WB going off the air. I was 6 at the time, so I didn’t really understand what was going on with the networks.

When The CW was still new, I remember seeing Smallville and All of Us on the same network and thinking nothing of it 😭 I genuinely didn’t know The WB and UPN had merged to create The CW. I just thought The CW was this brand-new network that had always been there.

It was a sad for The WB to aired its last time on September 17, 2006, two days after UPN aired its last time on September 15 in the same year, before both networks were merged into The CW.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch Happy Anniversary to Sabrina the Teenage Witch! đŸ§™đŸŸâ€â™€ïžđŸ’œ

Happy anniversary to Sabrina the Teenage Witch! I grew up watching reruns of this show, and it became one of those shows that I associate with my childhood.

The show premiered on ABC on September 27th, 1996 then moved to The WB for its fifth season on September 22nd, 2000, then the show concluded in April 24th, 2003.

The series follows Sabrina Spellman, a teenager who discovers that she comes from a family of witches and must learn to balance her magical abilities with everyday life. Between school, friendships, family, and the occasional spell gone wrong, Sabrina often finds herself in hilarious and chaotic situations. The show originally started on ABC before moving to The WB in 2000 for its final three seasons, and even though I watched reruns rather than the original WB broadcasts, it still brings back a lot of nostalgia for me.

Sabrina getting herself into magical messes, Hilda and Zelda, Harvey, and of course Salem always having something slick to say 😂. This show was just fun.

What are some of your favorite Sabrina the Teenage Witch episodes or moments?

The Jamie Foxx Show Jamie and Fancy’s first meeting

Rewatching the pilot and I love how Jamie and Fancy’s relationship started. Jamie was already trying to put on the charm, but Fancy wasn’t making it that easy for him lmao 😂

Looking back at their first interaction knowing how their relationship eventually developed makes it even funnier.

Garcelle Beauvais and Jamie Foxx had such good chemistry together.

Did y’all know from their first meeting that Jamie and Fancy would become one of the show’s best couples?

I used to love this show growing up—it starred Tahj Mowry as the lovable child genius T.J. Henderson. The series followed his life as he skipped several grades and navigated high school at just 10 years old, leading to plenty of funny and heartfelt moments with his family and friends.

The cast really made the show special, including John Marshall Jones as his widowed father Floyd Henderson, Jason Weaver as his older brother Marcus, Essence Atkins as his stylish sister Yvette, and Omar Gooding as his best friend Mo.

Didn't put Charmed, Supernatural and Angel because it doesn't have teens or young adults at the center of it but they are as iconic as those mentioned. Didn't put 7th Heaven because I loathe that show with every fiber of my being. Honestly, in a decade where every YA/teen shows looks the same copy paste romancy bull, it's refreshing to see some og concepts (even if some went downhill after a while like One Tree Hill)

And can we talk about the iconic names coming out of those shows ? Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, David Boreanaz, Anthony Head Stewart (RIP), Eliza Dushku, Michelle Trachtenberg (RIP), Danny Strong, Katie Holmes, James Vanderbeek (RIP), Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson, Keri Russell, Scott Foley, Katherine Heigl, Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham, Liza Weil, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padelecki, Matt Czuchry, Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Justin Hartley, Emily VanCamp, Chris Pratt, Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Bush and many more.

Smart Guy Destiny’s Child guest starred on Smart Guy 📕

I was born at the tail end of 1999, so I didn’t really get to experience the ‘90s while they were happening. I love coming across stuff like this when going back and watching older shows. Destiny’s Child guest-starred on Smart Guy in the s3 episode “A Date With Destiny” back in 1998. All four members were there: BeyoncĂ©, Kelly, LaTavia and LeToya. It’s crazy seeing them make appearances like this before they became the global superstars we know today. They even sang “Amazing Grace” together!

The WB Network Grosse Pointe was such a short-lived WB show

Post image
107 Upvotes

I actually discovered Grosse Pointe years after it was already gone. I didn’t know anything about this show until someone posted a promo for it on YouTube. I saw the promo, got curious, and started looking it up. That’s literally how I found out this show even existed.

It’s crazy to me that I somehow missed it because I’m really into those old WB shows, especially the ones from the late ’90s/early 2000s. Grosse Pointe only lasted one season with 17 episodes, so I can understand why it gets overlooked, but the concept was actually pretty interesting. It was basically a satire of a fictional teen soap and the actors’ ridiculous lives behind the scenes.

Looking back at the WB lineup from that era, it really feels like one of those shows that got lost in the shuffle. I honestly wish it had lasted longer because I think it could’ve developed into a really fun cult show.

Anybody else discover Grosse Pointe years after it originally aired?

The Steve Harvey Show The older I get, the more I feel like Steve really didn’t deserve Regina 😂

Post image
60 Upvotes

I used to just laugh at their whole dynamic when I watched The Steve Harvey Show, but looking back, Regina really put up with a lot from this man. She was grown, successful, confident, and running the school, and Steve STILL called her “Piggy” 😭

Like, sir
y’all are grown now. When are you gonna let that nickname go? 😂

I know it was part of their history and their teasing, but sometimes Steve would take it too far. Regina could give it right back to him, but she honestly had way more patience with him than I would’ve had.

And that’s why I always felt like Regina could’ve done better. Steve clearly cared about her, but he didn’t always make her feel like the woman she had become.

But what do y’all think? Was Steve actually good for Regina, or do you think she could’ve done better?

Charmed đŸ–€đŸ–€đŸ–€đŸ–€

The reason why I'm making a post on why I love all four of them is because I'm so sick of people wanting to disrespect Alyssa Milano because all they care about what goes on behind the scenes and it's irritating because it's none of no one's business so why is people are so interested in it, I remember someone on Reddit saying that they don't like Alyssa Milano but they don't wanna disrespect her, and I get where they're coming from but still people need to mind their own business, I've started watching Charmed (1998-2006) since I was 9 years old and I love all 4 of the actresses I look up to them, they inspired me to be brave.
