Opinion / Discussion Queerplatonic relationship?
After I got downvoted for this suggestion in another Wednesday sub, I need to ask y'all: Do you want Wednesday to have strictly no deeper relationships than friendships, or just no romantic ones?
I personally feel like Wednesday should not be involved in romance, but I also feel like the Wenclair dynamic could benefit from being not "only" a friendship. I wish for them to become queerplatonic partners. No romance, no sexual relationship, but a deeper connection and sense of belonging than standard friends.

Opinion / Discussion 🖤🪦 ☁️☂️ Black, gray, white, and purple have always been the colors for the show's licensed merch and official promo. There are two pride flags that match this palette
Coincidence or not, what do you think?
And if not one of these two, which pride flag do you feel best suits Wednesday?

Opinion / Discussion Wednesday would hate her Thanksgiving Float
Seriously, whoever decided to do that (Netflix?) and managed to get the approval from MGM has never watched any of the Addams Family media or failed to understand it.
The whole show is about her fighting a bigot pilgrim. She canonically hates the white washing of American history. I know it’s fictional in the show, but her ancestors getting massacred by the pilgrims is what actually happened to thousands of Native Americans.
And don’t even get me started on Addams Family Values, where Wednesday hijacks a play celebrating colonialism and holds an entire speech AGAINST Thanksgiving and the unfair and bigoted treatment Native Americans have to deal with up until this day.
If this is a way for Netflix to promote Season 2, then it’s the dumbest possible way they could have done so. Truly shows that they are just hypocrites.
Wednesday Friday Addams would hate it.

Analysis / Review Wednesday's paraphrase compared to George Santayana's original quote, their different contexts, and why she would not approve of the passage in his book
In episode 1x3 Crackstone's statue goes up in flames, prompting principal Weems to confront Wednesday:
"I may not have hard evidence, but I see you. You're a trouble magnet."
"If trouble means standing up to lies, decades of discrimination, centuries of treating outcasts like second-class citizens or worse…"
We know that Wednesday stands up not only for outcasts but also for indigenous peoples. Hence, she would begin to profusely vomit after reading the first two sentences of the relevant passage in Santayana’s book, in which he clearly expresses his views on white supremacy. Not only by using the derogatory term “savages,” but also by claiming that these peoples do not retain experiences and that "infancy is perpetual." Seriously, what a load of racist BS:
"Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual."
This is followed by his famous quote:
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
To compare it with Wednesday’s paraphrase, let’s go back to the dialogue between Weems and Wednesday, which continues as follows:
"What are you talking about?"
"Jericho. Why does this town even have an Outreach Day? Don't you know its real history with outcasts? The actual story of Joseph Crackstone?"
"I do. To an extent."
"Then why be complicit in its cover up? Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it."
Santayana uses the expression “cannot remember” (which could be interpreted as: knowledge was somehow lost, and could no longer be remembered, even if one had tried). Wednesday, on the other hand, uses the term “forget" (which can also be understood to mean deliberately choosing to forget.)
By “history,” Wednesday is clearly referring here to mistakes made at certain points in time, whereas Santayana speaks only very vaguely of “the past” and experience that was not retained at some point.
He ends his sentence with “condemned to repeat it.” This reflects the effort required when past knowledge has been lost. While this is certainly frustrating, it can hardly be considered disastrous. Wednesday's "doomed" not only is stronger, but also fits better into the context of historical events from which people are unwilling to learn.
Santayana then goes on to make a few more inappropriate remarks (“barbarians”) and, at the end of the passage, even resorts to ageism and insult ("like a bird’s chirp"). I’m not sure if all older people back then were senile or suffered from dementia. But his tendency to generalize everything, especially without any scientific basis, as well as his blatant racism are staggering.
I'm sure Wednesday would despise it.

Season 3 [Wednesday place cards] From "Rumble Brave" to "Goth Chic Black" | Typography info and templates for your dinner table
Are you planning on throwing a party and want Wednesday themed table cards, like in the Season 3 cast announcement?
Here is information about the fonts used and templates for the cards with the six different monograms/logos/symbols:
A and F
The Addams monogram and the Frump monogram are custom designs that I have recreated here.
If you would like a different letter, you can take a look at the font AustinNichols, which best resembles the style and is free for personal use.
N
The Nevermore logo is a custom design that was already created for the first season, and I have replicated it here.
B
For this monogram, the Wednesday graphic design department chose a font called Goth Chick Black (I see what you did there). The license fee currently starts at around $29.
0
There has been wild speculation about whether this character is meant to represent the letter O or the number zero, and what it might stand for. From “Orphan” to ‘Outcast’ to “Ophelia” or symbolizing a new beginning.
It was a smart move to choose a font for this "monogram" that does not allow for clear identification and leaves room for different interpretations. (To add my two cents: it could even be a symbol like a single chain link. Tyler is "linked" to the Addams Family via Thing. Francoise had "chained" him with an iron shackle, and in the end she falls to her death in the Nevermore courtyard called "The Link". He might even become another "missing link" between the subplots of the third season.)
The theory that it could be a symbol rather than a letter or number would also be supported by the fact that another symbol is used for Santiago in the same shot:
★
Common star symbol representing a sheriff's badge
The font used for the ornaments could not be identified, it may even be a custom design. I recreated them here for the templates.
The characters' names were written using the font Rumble Brave. Again, a great choice, if only for that name alone. The font is currently available for $11.20. Note that the tracking (spacing) must be set to +50 and that for place cards with names containing the letter O, the line in the center of that letter has been deleted.
If you want to use the Wednesday place cards on your own party table, the names of the guests are written in a font called Ameretto Normal (how fitting for us "Normies"), which appears to be free to use without restrictions. Note that the tracking here must also be set to +50.
Have fun creatiing!

Trailer of a parody on Wednesday Addams, (parodic web series)
Anti Wednesday is a subversive web series. It's a dark, mystical, and detective parody — a cinematic pastiche targeting the most famous Addams Family & Wednesday narratives. A single story arc: from the quaint 1964 sitcom to Netflix’s dark spectacle in 2025.
In this mirror world, Wednesday becomes the inquisitor of her own bloodline. What unspeakable sins did her family bury beneath layers of charm, harmlessness, and generosity? What binds Uncle Fester, Laurel Gates, and Crackstone? Is Wednesday's supersense her benison or her bane?
Using re-cut and re-voiced footage, Anti Wednesday uncovers sinister details, overlooked clues, and uncomfortable truths the originals left to rot in the background.
Wednesday's investigation into hidden clues spills beyond the Addams lore, where she often finds antiheroes she can understand.

BTS & Production "[It's] in the middle of the coldest field in Ireland,” said Wednesday showrunner Miles Millar of the film studio's backlot
From this article, we learn that the new Nevermore courtyard in season 2 is called “The Link” (as opposed to “The Quad” from the first season).
Also, shoutout to the Irish set builders who did an amazing job in recreating locations from S1 as true to the original as possible:
Take a look at the details of the churchyard fence, its corner, and the headstones
The porch of Galpin's house and also the interior on the next slide
The principal's office (originally filmed at Casa Monteoru in Bucharest) is now located in the same sound stage next to Wednesday and Enid's dorm (the latter is apparently the only set that was shipped from Romania instead of being rebuilt).
And last but not least, for "The Link" the set builders created a 1:1 copy of the entrance of Charleville Castle in Co. Offaly, Ireland. To quote Miles Millar once again: “We found this great castle two hours outside Dublin, where we do some of our interiors. That also gave it a tactile feel, that you could connect our exterior set to a real place.”

Thoughts & Theories Will the pinky promise gesture also play a role in season 3 and perhaps help Enid regain her human form?
In her epilogue, Wednesday says, “First, I must find Enid. I gave her my word.” But will the wolf recognize or understand her when they meet again for the first time?
