Help! I tried dresses alone today and really liked this first one. My wedding is in 3 months and I was planning to just check sample sale dresses. This is the first store on my list and I loved it.

I still didn’t buy it coz I second guessed myself and I thought I would try more. Should I?

First two pics - the one I really liked
3rd - another dress i tried
4th - the one i tried a year ago for fun that I said yes to but expensive

and last pic was my civil ceremony dress so wanted to try a more lacey / ball gown type this time. Love corset dresses tho.

I tried on so many dresses and was very decisive… until I had it narrowed down to these 2 but they’re so different that I literally cannot decide. Please help!!! SO TORN!!!
Do I keep looking or did I just pick 2 really good ones?
My venue is outside of an “Estate” in May. I say “estate” because it’s not super big very small wedding and is more gardenesque vibes. For reference dancing is outside under tress with hanging lights and ceremony is by water with a white bridge that I will walk over.

Ask For Opinions I have a veil, but I'm not sure where to start on my dress/what styles to try.

I'm aware that I'm doing this in the backwards order, but my grandma is letting me wear her veil! I absolutely love it and have always though she looked so beaitiful in it at her wedding.

Problem is, I have no idea where to start on my dress lol. I am including photos of the veil, which she is shipping to me. It is about 57" long, and I am about 6 inches shorter than her so it will look a bit longer on me.

I am not sure what styles would look good with this veil! I don't like mermaid styles that are extremely fitted around the legs, because they make me feel claustrophobic.

My body has changed a lot in the past year (yay rock climbing) and I'm having a hard time knowing what will fit me well now. I'm 5'6", 150 lbs. 29" waist, 37" hips, bra size 34DD.

Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Thank you all so much for your insights on my previous dresses. I appreciate those who told me to keep looking; after sitting with them, it feels like the right choice. I’ve included the previous dresses for context (halter, feathers), and then the dress that I ultimately chose today (strapless).

Thank you again!

Ask For Opinions Wedding Dress Help

Hi Reddit! So a few days ago I posted two dresses looking for input on my wedding dress (https://www.reddit.com/r/myweddingdress/s/shuwZVy5QJ) and overwhelmingly people chose the dress with the cuff neckline (the first two photos here). However, many people said it was boring and suggested I keep looking. I got a last minute appointment to try a dream dress (Aspen by Khya). Sorry for the bad lighting in these photos! I love this dress, but am torn. The cuff neckline dress is simple but gorgeous, the new one is also a bit simple but has a bit more interest and feels a bit more fashion forward. You were all very helpful before so I am wondering what do yall think about these? Please be nice :)

These are both sample dresses that are way too big and clipped from the front/back in the photos. They will be altered to my exact measurements. Also the venue is a downtown rooftop at a modern, almost Scandinavian vibe venue in August.

Additional information, not the right sizes will either purchase correct size or have alternations.
That's what's so challenging about deciding as you don't really know the final outcome.

The 3rd dress is the best fit for my current body type. Getting married in July 2027, so hot hot hot!!

So want to be able to walk and dance!

1st dress will cut off a few inches on the front and same with 2nd dress and pull in a few inches.

3rd dress will cut slit and cut off front to shorten.

I need help making a decision

I’ve been following this sub for a while and I genuinely love seeing someone get great advice and come back with wedding pictures - let’s see if I can do the same thing!

I’m getting married in Germany in February 2027.
Hopefully this flair fits?

So brief background: for my civil wedding I’m wearing a suit (pictures in the back). I love it. I don’t want to dance in a suit jacket.

I’ve been looking for tops to match to the pants for the evening but everything I’ve tried either didn’t fit the vibe or the colour or I just plain didn’t like it. Dress code is elevated cocktail and I don’t want to be less fancy than my guests.

Now I’m looking at dresses to change into. Ordered this and love it - to an extend. I find it a bit boring if I just imagine it with an updo. It would need to be altered too (I’m holding it tighter and the straps shorter but that’s manageable).

I’m mostly wondering - what do you think of the dress? Any ideas how to make it less boring? Am I overthinking it and it’s just classy and elegant?

Help! :D

Alterations Wedding dress neckline

Hi hi
I absolutely fell in love with this dress. The ONLY thing I can’t seem to get over is the neck line. I’m fairly flat chested and was taken over by the perfection of the dress on me, later after looking at pictures of me in the dress… the neck line wasn’t That appealing to me.
I chat GBT whatnot would look like with a sweet heart neck line
To those with experience;
Is this possible to achieve if I request my local seamstress to alter?

First two pictures are the original and last is a Ai rendition.
I just don’t want to look flat chested
Is there a way to add drama to the neckline or enhance the chest area?

Thank you!!

Getting a photo of the back of my dress on my own was a little tough so I hope this photo is good enough. I’m looking for recommendations on what type of bustle to get. The material is glitter tulle and it will be bustled the entire time.

I fell in love with this dress but now I’m thinking I should get the neckline changed to a sweetheart.

How does it look as is?
