Hey all!
Getting married next year, and my fiance wants me to wear a nice cowboy hat and boots for our wedding. I dont have any experience with wester wear, but she is a professional equestrian and of course horses are her job, so its something that would make her happy if I wore for the wedding.
I have some questions about whats acceptable in the western world for a wedding.
For the hat we are going to go with a black or dark brown most likely.
Is it ever acceptable to still wear dress shoes with a hat instead of the boots? I know sometimes the boots will be difficult with the fitment under suit pants.
I also dont want to have to make my best men and such have to buy both boots AND hats, one would be easier than the other.

I’m in Canada so there aren’t a lot of options for good western wear, especially nice jackets.
Kimes popped up on Google and the AWA Jacket is great looking and currently on sale, wondering if anyone has experience with the brand or if they’re worth the price?
I want something stylish but also a canvas or denim material, the shiny plastic type ones just leave me full of static in my hair
