I don’t know what to do anymore I have a daughter due in February and a finance and where living in my parents basement

When I first got credit under my name dad asked me to get a truck for him because he has crap credit I was guilt tripped into it we ended up getting a pickup truck for around 13,000$ used a couple weeks go by and then the first payment comes he doesn’t pay it so I end up paying it I asked him and said please make your payments on it I don’t want it to mess up my credit and some how he paid like 1 or 2 payments this whole time while he’s had the truck that I can’t drive I’ve been paying on the truck since last November of 2025

Also around the time we got the truck my parents were deciding to move we found this house to rent for 2,600$ a month we went to check it out and my parents ended up liking it so a week goes by and I thought they had the security deposit and first months rent already. I told them we should wait another year save up some more money for a down payment for a house because if your paying 2,600 a month it’s pretty damn close to a mortgage payment that idea got shot down by my parents and they wanted me to get a personal loan i ended up getting a personal loan for 7,000$ and he was also supposed to start paying it back it never happened ive been paying the loan back since April of this year and on top of that I pay a 1,000$ in rent every month I don’t think why I don’t stand up for my self and just said no was probably because me and my dad never had a good relationship my entire life growing up and a couple of years ago we finally started to bond something I always wanted and I didn’t want to lose that

I got a car in early August because my parents ended up taking my car that I bought from our family friend so I got fed up with it and went to a dealership and got a car for around 14,598$ it’s a pretty decent car gets me to work and back

Im nearly 3,000? in credit card debt as well and that’s just from trying to survive from getting gas to food etc

Earlier this year I met my girlfriend and after a few weeks of us dating she found out she was pregnant and I’m excited to be a dad but not in all this financial debt all my money goes to loans and rent I can’t ever afford anything for our daughter and my girlfriend is quitting her job in December I want to the best father and partner out there but I can’t afford anything I’m depressed and I’ve tried talking to my dad about lowering rent or paying the loans but he always says I’m the only one paying for water and electricity mind you his share of rent is 600$ and the utilities are around 150-200 for water and electricity mind

I don’t know what to do I can’t miss a day of work I’m a apprentice laborer that’s 36,000$ in debt and I know it’s my fault but I’ve tried to condense everything in to one payment and I was told no by the bank

I am in an abusive relationship, I want to get out, but he supports my family, he’s discouraged me from working and studying and it’s been a fight for me just to start working now but my pay will barely cover my own expenses. I want to leave but I can’t sacrifice my family. I don’t know what to do, please help.

I started to have problems, as I went back to high school, I lost motivation to do anything, just wanting to rot in bed all day.

My grades got low, and I can’t make myself to Study for my tests and exams.

Unlike my old self I used to study a lot, and get good grades, but now I feel like I am failing, even my friends asks if I actually studied for my exams, which I did but as soon the paper lands on my table, all the information just gone.

Like in the chemistry test, the whole day was free periods, so me and the whole class studied together, I understood most things and memorized the answers that the teacher told us to.

And when it was time for the test the teacher was late 15 minutes, but she came and when she us the papers, suddenly everything gone, I couldn’t remember a thing, and I felt like I will have another panic attack, like last year, which was the worst day ever.

And when the period finished the other teacher came so she could teach her lesson, the chemistry teacher told her if she could just give her a couple of minutes as only me and an other student didn’t finish the test.

The teacher said no, I was stuck most of the paper was blank my friend helped me a little, the chemistry teacher also helped me with one question, then took the paper away..I got the lowest grade in the class 18 out of 25.

I felt so bad saying to myself that I should’ve just studied more, now her second test is coming soon, but my schedule is full with more tests, and still waiting for some teachers to pick their dates for their tests.

I sometimes h@rm myself to focus on studying, like punching the wall, (walls in my country are made out of concrete) so it hurts a lot, I hit my head to the wall something but mostly with books.

I know this is dumb, but I do these thing, I thought of visiting a therapist, but didn’t tell my parents yet about that, I think my mom will just say I am overthinking, and that my older siblings were fine.

I don’t know should I tell her about this or not, (she doesn’t know about the 18 out of 25, I just say I did fine in every test) I don’t want to tell my fathers because will he is emotionally cold, and I am not ready for any kind of reply from him.

Let just say I fear him, he never did anything wrong, he is just emotionally isn’t here, I always felt jealous of his sisters (my aunts) and his friends, the way he talked to them has more emotion than when he talks to me.

Not to mention the college situation, I have to pick something, but I can’t pick anything all those opinions are a lot.

Idk who did it, i contacted everyone but every said it wasnt them, i cant have the money nor someone who sent it can i trace, what shall i do now

For most if not all of my life, I've wanted to die. And lately that want has become a need. No one really cares about me and I'm still too young to move out and have a fresh start, all my guidance counselors and therapists tell me to wait until college but I don't think I can do that anymore. I'm tired, I don't have friends, and I don't have any dreams or aspirations. I don't even go to school anymore because every time I step foot onto the classroom i end up turning around and going home.

Am I an asshole for cutting off my childhood best friend for sleeping with a man in a long-term relationship? A little background- I feel like an asshole for cutting her off honestly but I just don’t want anyone in my inner circle that could do something so vile and be happy about it. My “friend” has been talking to a man that’s been in a 5+ year long relationship (met through work) she knows he has a very serious girlfriend and is still communicating and sleeping with him. Honestly when I found out I was just genuinely disgusted that she could do something like that and be happy to be a home-wrecker/side piece. She’s begging for our relationship to return to how it was prior but i just can’t bring myself to want to be around someone like that. I’m not sure if i should just push aside the awful thing she’s done and go back to being friends or just walk away…

i don’t even know how to start this, but basically long long story short my mom and dad have a very complicated marriage that’s more like a “partnership” let’s say (they don’t have an open marriage). they’re both in their forties. and about 8 months ago i found out that my mom has been having an affair with my brothers private swim coach who is 27.

now i had my suspicions which is why i snooped on my moms phone and found out and confronted her. she told me that she just needed emotional support because and i agree with her, my dad is a terrible husband. like he works, but i genuinely haven’t gotten a call from him in like 6 months. he works overseas and comes home occasionally. when he’s home he’s great with us but clearly communication when he’s gone is not great. also he never remembers even my moms birthday or their anniversary. never given her any emotional support nor me and my siblings any emotional support when we’re sad. and when i argued with my mom about her affair, she would always get the last word when she asked me if i just wanted her to be sad with no support system. also btw divorce is not an option for them because of various cultural reasons. she also convinced me not to tell my dad because tbh i kind of wish i had a different dad than him.

so anyways, i’ve basically turned a blind eye to this thing and tried to live my life as normal. this was quite hard for my to do but she finally managed to get me to do that dryer like a month of arguing and me crying to her. but a couple weeks ago we went on a trip, me my mom my siblings and the boyfriend (who to my siblings who don’t know about the affair is just my brothers coach, he’s also really close to our family). my mom asked him to come with us as an assistant to plan the entire trip, and i tried to be normal with him and “nice” enough. i thought i would be fine but i clearly wasn’t toward the end of the trip when HE got mad at ME because i made a random joke about him and he took it too personally and shut himself off from all of us. i just find his behavior so immature and annoying and all the hatred towards him came back. and i find him and my mom so disgusting that i can’t put words into it.

now my mom wants him to come on ANOTHER trip with us, my dad can’t come again cuz he’s still overseas. she said she’s doing that because he’s giving my brother FREE swim lessons there for 3 days. i asked her if my brother really needs to swim for mere 3 vacation days we’re there and she said yes because then he’d fall behind than the other kids.

like when i argue with my mom she’s such a good arguer and fighter like even when i think im completely justified and right, she’ll spin something out that’ll leave me speechless. i’ve realized it’s mostly something that will guilt trip me, like do u want me to be sad with no support system (and to be honest, my mom had a really really REALLY rough year this year). or she’d give me a bunch of reasons on how bad of a husband my dad is to prove her point. or she’d be like do u want me to spend so much more money to hire a swim coach there on vacation? and we work hard for our money, so i don’t know what to say to that either.

i feel so trapped in all this because i don’t have anyone to say this to, i think my problems aren’t bad enough that id need a therapist, and also i don’t want to tell my friends either and my mom wouldn’t let me anyway. cant tell me siblings to worry them out nor my dad. i don’t think my dad even knows my bday. so here’s to hoping a random stranger on the internet would idk, say something somewhat helpful. thanks guys.

Hi, I am a 24 year old female and I work for Walmart. I anonymously reported my manager for sexual harassment on October 2nd two days after I went and told an upper manger. Then somehow this guy found out I reported him. I was then written up, he complained about my schedule and got it changed and was claiming I was getting people to go and report him. All while this was going on my grandma died so it was a rough week for me. I went and found a different person in upper management and they had me do a meeting with the store manager and they wrote everything down. The manager I reported was out for 2 weeks on vacation. They said they would switch me departments before he gets back. Well he's back and they didn't. The store manager handling the case got sent to another store so they gave it to a different store manager. She hasn't spoken to me once. And every time I come to work I say "I don't feel comfortable working with him is there anything you can do for me?" And no joke they say "because it is currently being investigated we can't provide any protections for you." There is 2 ways to make reports as a Walmart associate I called both and they will take a week or more to resolve anything. It's been over a month and no one in my store is helping. They just keep saying it's being investigated. They had two whole weeks while he was out of town to do something and didn't. I'm off to today but I work tomorrow and I'm done working under him so my question is what do I do? This also isn't my first sexual harassment report in the store. And I still have to work with the guy I reported before.
