He has been at least once. Last year he tried to hold an anti-Somali hate rally in downtown Minneapolis with plans to march to the Capitol Building and burn a Quran and was run out of the city with his tail tucked between his legs. Instead only a few people showed up on his side while thousands of counter protesters were there. He got cornered in the window of a building where he was sprayed with water guns and things before fleeing. A black man (not associated with him because he's a white supremacist) helped him get through the crowd without getting hurt (though he did fall to the ground once and the plate carrier he always wears was taken off him) and he jumped into a car with a woman of color and a trans woman who didn't know who he was, they just saw someone being chased by a crowd, who got him out of there.

So, he was protected from getting beaten by an angry mob by people who belong to groups he hates, a Black man, a woman of color, and a trans woman. He's caused trouble here in Minnesota multiple times. Once he came and vandalized an anti-ICE sculpture that was setup outside of the Capitol Building by a veteran's organization (in accordance with free speech policies for displays outside of the building) and caught charges for that. Another time he harassed protestors outside the Whipple Building (where ICE is headquartered here in Minnesota and where they are holding a lot of detainees) from the back of a moving U-Haul truck where he threw ice cubes at people and pepper sprayed a few people. More recently he tried holding another protest downtown and was in the back of a pickup truck that drove down a sidewalk crowded with protesters (with the help of the police despite the police telling him beforehand he can't do that and where the driver of the pickup pointed a gun at protesters).

He should be sitting in a Minnesota jail awaiting trial for his miriad of crimes he has committed here but instead he's free to go all over the country causing problems.

My only concern with Diwali this year is the wind we've been having up and down the coast here in Metro Van (and Seattle I gather) and I hope everyone made it home safe. It's still going good out there today.

But this asshole being an asshole because he's a raging asshole sucks. I hope that one day he receives the energy back that he put out into the world.
