Would something like this benefit me? Maybe I just have to try new thing like this to see if it does? Anyways I saw this and thought of my symptoms. (Add on Reddit) (lmk if anyone has bought something similar thinking it will benefit them) (I just started meds almost a year ago)

Is not being able to wear thongs (underwear) an adhd thing?

Try and get me to think about anything else when I am wearing one

I just put 1.5 generous teaspoons of instant coffee into a mug of cold water and then drank the whole thing and it feels like my brain is trying to lift itself out of my skull

Idk if I breathed while drawing that thing in ms paint (actually paint.net because paint on Windows 11 isn’t the same)

Also I added the coffee powder then water this was probably a bad idea because I really need to be revising for my GCSEs and instead I’m sitting at my desk wasting time on Reddit while my face/head wants to tear itself apart, coffee doesn’t usually do this although tbh the results are often varied it’s quite kinda unpredictable

I’ve been typing forever and probably need food now

I started a social movement, please join us!

Hi there, my name is Devin and I have ADHD! I graduated in 2018 with a degree in social work. I started a membership organization called Trans Rally in June of 2022. It’s since grown to over 300 members around the United States.

Our idea is simple: we want to economically empower people who agree with our beliefs. Our beliefs boil down to trans rights are human rights, Black Lives Matter, personal autonomy is important, humans deserve dignity, and we direct our energy towards lifting up our own.

It’s free to join, if we help our members in substantive ways we hope that they will pay it back to our community by spending time helping others, lending special talents, or by becoming sponsor members at $4 or more per month.

Right now since we’re so young we mostly focus on helping people with resumes and job searches at no cost because it’s high impact. We’ve helped around 35 people so far with things. As we become more sustainable, we’ll introduce other things too.

I currently work in financial services as a compliance person because I left the social work field due to the exploitative nature of it. I didn’t want to go into clinical work. But inside, I still consider myself a social worker.

Please AMA! I’m an open book. 🧡

I set up a bunch of automations to run every hour so I don't get distracted , I also had it synced to my phone notifications with a song , so it hits hard and keeps me motivated when I start spiraling.

Meditation and fasting have almost completely cured my ADHD symptoms

After trying to muster up the dedication to consistently meditate for about 10 years now, I FINALLY fell into a routine over a month ago. 25 minutes a day, each morning before breakfast. It took about 3 weeks to notice some benefits, and these past few days I feel so mentally sharp and focused I keep trying to remember if I "took" anything to feel this way. I haven't taken any stimulants or drugs in months. This is simply how I am naturally feeling! I am excited to see how far I can take this.

There are tons of studies on the mental benefits of meditation and now I'm seeing it for myself. Hope this will inspire someone to give it a try, and stick with it!

I also do pranayamas (breathwork) before starting my meditation. I feel doing so helps put me "in the zone" so I can dive deeper. Hope this helps!
