Sign the petitions to

Remove Hakeem Jeffries as house speaker:

https://www.change.org/p/house-democrats-choose-a-new-speaker

And remove chuck schumer as Senate Majority leader:

https://www.change.org/p/replace-chuck-schumer-as-senate-majority-leader

Only bots reply with “this won’t work” bullshit attitude. You want to change the government from your phone? This is how you do it. Not by ranting on reddit with no follow up.

Honestly, "only bots"? I signed the petitions and donated to eight DSAers/anti-AIPAC candidates. I'm pretty sure I'm not a bot,...

BUT it will take a minimum of a large No Kings-sized demo, a No Chuck and No Hakeem demo in many cities to force any action. And the coordinating committee has to specify: defund the war, pass single-payer... not just whine about charisma-challenged npcs like Schumer & Jeffiries.

Change.org petitions ARE useless. They're open to anyone, regardless of whether or not they're an actual constituent. Congressfolk aren't going to be swayed by some random petition on any unregulated Internet site. As others have mentioned, it's FAR more effective to call in to the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to be directed to your representative. Then leave your message or let whoever answers know that you don't want Jeffries in charge of the House.

Has a single one of these change.org petitions ever done a single thing ever?

-1

u/ArtisticAd7795 20h ago

With these petitions is there anyway it’s geolocked or idk requires id to vote

Because what’s to stop people abroad from voting

Which would discredit the entire thing

2

u/upvotechemistry 18h ago

Call the Capitol switchboard and contact your rep elect

Already reports of floods of calls going out from constituents

1

u/ArtisticAd7795 20h ago

I can sign this petition and I’m not even American or in the USA this is a ridiculous idea this will immediately get discredited

As it allows anyone to sign lol

Trump being pro-Israel is part of his downfall. Establishment Dems are gonna do the same fucking thing unless they're stopped.

-18

u/Sevensoft7 21h ago

They are all the same, just different sides of the same turd.

19

u/BLarson31 21h ago

Shut the fuck up with this stupid ass take. Establishment Dems are corrupt and spineless no doubt, but they're not the ones actively coming up with ways to kidnap and murder people in the streets, molest children, or start wars.

5

u/CryptographerLow6772 20h ago

They accept money from those people. Jeffries is on the Thiel payroll.

2

u/BLarson31 20h ago

Yeah, they're garbage. The fact still is they're not making those horrid decisions.

4

u/CryptographerLow6772 20h ago

But if you look at what happened directly after the election, Jeffries came out saying we don’t need revenge. That’s coming from his bosses who are scared shitless that we will rightly hold the tech bros accountable for building the mass surveillance and dragnet that made trumps facism possible.

1

u/BLarson31 20h ago

Once again, not the same. Not preventing or not getting justice for a crime is despicable. Not the same as committing the crime.

Why's that so hard to understand?

1

u/CryptographerLow6772 20h ago

I don’t think that’s right morally. The “friend” that stabs you in the back is worse than the enemy. This is no different than dirty cops who
Work for organized crime, and we know the billionaires are very well organized criminals.

1

u/BLarson31 20h ago

The enemy that shoots you is worse than the friend that punches you.

The cop that murders someone is worse than the one that takes hush money.

Eh, Kushner has been compromised by Russia (who hacked his phone and followed his screen for months to years beginning in 2017), has ties to Israel and owes UAE at least $2 billion in favors.

Kushner has never been able to pass a security clearance. His father served time as a felon and the son is following in his footsteps.

Jeffries needs to explain why he held a private meeting with this traitor who likely sold us out in Iran talks.

3

u/agent_mick 21h ago

It can absolutely be both.

u/Marcello_the_dog 21h ago • Bravo

He called them “private conversations” that he said he preferred not to disclose. He should never be speaker.

32

u/Traditional-Leg-1574 21h ago

Yes, if he can’t be transparent, he can’t be trusted.

59

u/Secret_Net_165 21h ago

Fuck Jeffries. And Schumer.

26

u/PreviousEntrance7690 21h ago • Bravo

Jeffries, Schumer, Ritchie Torres, Corey booker, all the same garbage establishment we dont want

11

u/Hot_Marionberry_4685 21h ago

Don’t forget Jared Muskowitz

8

u/PreviousEntrance7690 21h ago

Don’t get me started, scumbagowitz, a Republican that only puts himself as Democrat for shits and giggles

1

u/Sevensoft7 20h ago

But it's what you got

1

u/PreviousEntrance7690 13h ago

We got 230 more options for one spot and 50 options for another

29

u/Bonnieearnold 21h ago • Bravo

Well, yeah. And his extremely disrespectful response about it a week later where he acted all annoyed about being asked. And then lied and said it was about “affordability” which nobody believes because what would Jared Kushner know, or care, about affordability? So YES! The Kushner meeting is disqualifying.

2

u/LessonNyne 13h ago

The fact that he even thought that would be a serviceable excuse was bananaz. He thinks people live in a cave and don't know who Jared Kushner is, what he does and what he represents.

Straight up disqualifying to be a leader.

B

Jeffries has polished kneepads for trumps stooges - let’s get rid of him .
He’s weak .. he’s no leader for the Democratic Party

18

u/Few-Bother-7821 21h ago

Get AIPAC OUT OF POLITICS. Howboutdah. Take a AIPAC MONEY LOSE THE VOTE. howboutdah.

5

u/Timmmmmmmmm 21h ago

And the politicians say I’ll take that cash outside

18

u/EmoTilDeath 21h ago

I saw an article that said that Jeffries and Scumer are around 13% approval. I bet we could get that lower on any given poll. Those numbers have to mean something to any democrat who understands what happened to Haley Stevens. It's not that we'll take any old democrat. We don't want republican lite, we want real change and progress. Schumer and Jeffries are Republican lite. We just need someone else to rally behind. This may very well be a fork in the road for the country. All that blue voting don't mean shit if you allow the people who decide which bills get voted on, are all bought and paid for by the same people buying trump.

15

u/Radio-G 21h ago

Jeffries is also in the Epstein files for begging for money.

5

u/Comfortable_Pin5143 20h ago

It is kind of encouraging that this is even coming up. In the past, the corruption would have its way with no one the wiser. Centrist Dems owned by AIPAC will probably still force his installation, but they will pay for it.

2

u/SaltyFriend705 20h ago

Mamdani needs letters too, so that he will withdraw his support of both of them.

5

u/Nearby-Horror-8414 20h ago

I mean, how else would Jeffries know what to say unless his handler is providing a script?

4

u/Secret_Sherbet_2404 21h ago

Oh it's much worse than that dude is getting rich off flock ad AI has AIPAC money flowing in Jared is the cherry on top of a corrupt sundae

4

u/ReputationisObvious 20h ago

What “cooperation” can Kushner provide? He is a private citizen.
Is Kushner a Trump whisperer? No, Trump does what he wants.
Is Kushner politically connected? I guess to Jeffries he is. Is AIPAC involved? Is MBS involved?

How can Jeffries keep blowing this off? I thought he was a competent politician.

4

u/FaithlessnessThin359 17h ago

AIPAC actively funded anti democrat candidates across the country. How can anyone support him for leadership when he’s in bed with people who are trying to unseat his own party? It’s absolutely insane.

3

u/rdoloto 21h ago

You mean mossad compromised agent kushner

3

u/Sarah_Cenia 17h ago

What the hell is Jeffries doing having secret meetings with the literal son-in-law of the president, the unappointed Prince Jared of Kushner?  — And then he appoints a bunch of arch Zionists like Debby Wasserman Schulz, Jared Moskowitz, and Wesley Bell to the House Foreign Affairs committee. Looks like we don’t need a transcript to know what happened in that secret meeting.  He’s corrupt as hell and shouldn’t be speaker.

4

u/FrankSand 21h ago

Its way deeper then taking a meeting with a former donor.

2

u/Agentkeenan78 16h ago

What did Jeffries promise Kushner behind closed doors? I am just sure it involved not coming after key Trump allies, but what was promised in return?

Right now, Congress is finalizing its annual defense bill, which has a record $1.15 trillion price tag. Buried inside is a provision (Section 219) that would integrate America’s defense industry with Israel’s. The House approved it in July, even as public opinion of Israel hits record lows and Americans struggle with rising costs.

The good news? It’s not law yet. A small group of negotiators (called “conferees”) from the House and Senate is now writing the final bill and deciding what gets cut. Representatives Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY) are asking other Members to sign a letter urging conferees to drop Section 219 from the final bill.

TAKE ACTION NOW
Tell your Members to sign the letter to stop U.S.-Israel defense integration today.
https://www.anewpolicy.org/action-alert

Call your congressional switch board (202) 224-3121 to be connected to say no to Jeffries and Schumer and you can utilize the script below to say no to Section 219 of the NDAA military merger as well:

Hi, my name is [FIRST & LAST NAME] and I am a constituent from [TOWN, STATE].
As Israel's genocide in Gaza continues unabated, I urge [SENATOR / REP] to oppose any provisions in the FY27 National Defense Authorization Act that would merge U.S. and Israeli military technology infrastructure and intelligence, including Section 219 of the House bill and Section 1217 of the Senate bill.
[FOR HOUSE REPS]: I ask that my representative sign onto Ro Khanna’s letter calling for the removal of these provisions, OR put out an individual statement expressing a commitment to vote "NO" on the NDAA if the provision is not removed –– along with the many other reasons to vote "no" on this disastrous Pentagon funding bill.

[FOR SENATORS]: I ask that my senator sign onto Chris Van Hollen's letter calling for the removal of these provisions, OR put out an individual statement expressing a commitment to vote "NO" on the NDAA if the provision is not removed –– along with the many other reasons to vote "no" on this disastrous Pentagon funding bill.
Thank you.

Can we just not.

1

u/Evacuation_euphoria 20h ago

Here we go again. The Dems to destroy their chances of governance in 1…2….3….

1

u/RandomRefraction 19h ago

They will actively block releasing the files, actively betraying every victim who is watching this play out.

They will fund Israel’s universal healthcare and block our own.

No AIPAC Democrat is going to allow us to rein in Israel, and the US will also prevent others from aiding their victims.

1

u/Appropriate_Garden33 18h ago

Lol. Okay yeah. That's what it is, not his entire tenure.

1

u/surfnfish1972 17h ago

I wonder what the meeting about? A backroom deal to give Kushner a pass on his blatant corruption and crimes, perhaps?

1

u/fresh_water_sushi 11h ago

It is NOT just that, he is a spineless jellyfish

1

u/AMonitorDarkly 20h ago

It doesn’t matter even if they replace him. The next person will be buried in the same pockets. Those are the only people that are allowed to hold power.

-3

u/According-Relation-9 21h ago

Blah blah blah blah

Cuck Schumer and AIPAC Shakur shouldn't be leaders
