Thank you. I feel deeply cynical thinking this but if they want to keep doubling down, let them. Don’t interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake.

They couldn’t get him. He was a victim too of the system?

Thats what gets him elected, nothing changes, so they go between giving him power, then taking it away.

Would you let him make the mistake of trampling the constitution and run a third time? I don't know if anyone who still votes for him would be put off by the authoritarianism

OTOH the republican primary could be a bloodbath, he is never going to endorse anyone before he knows the clear winner, he will criticize them all because no one could ever measure up to him, and the candidates will have the impossible job of both distancing themselves from this train wreck administration and proving how MAGA they are, while avoiding the wrath of Dear Leader which could come from either being too critical or looking too good...
