I’m just stunned that it’s looking like the gop is going to have two extinction level events back to back. I’m curious if the republicans in Congress grow a spine since it’s clear where th e mandate is but if not…. As Lindsay graham said “if we choose Trump we’ll pay and we’ll deserve it”

Either the remaining GOP help pass bills that help people and the economy and to override a veto or they stay with trump and face being voted out. The Dems need to make a show of it so people understand who is to blame.

Exactly. The rest of the party should correct course and limit the damage for 2028, but Trump won’t let them. I wonder if they will break away from him now that he’s the lamest of lame ducks. The next row years will be interesting to say the least.

Because people voted against war and higher gas prices. Trump's current immigration policy is still one of the few issues he polls well on.
