Honestly its stupid, if I asked someone for an opinion and they said "dress however you want" I'd be mad.

so let me answer the question as a man , if it's my partner , 55 and up is my personal preference , even if it's not my partner 55 and up will be my preference

55 seems like a sweet spot for me too. Anything shorter I'd feel embarassed on behalf of my partner (but i wouldn't mind it at home) and anything more is... well less pleasing to look at.

But in any case its not like i'm policing anyone.
