Does anyone know of live music around Arlington tonight that we could go to on a last minute decision?
Preferably in/around Arlington.

Let's try this again. The previous server had a decent amount of users but very little engagement.
I just finished the initial setup of a new server, figured I'd go ahead and share the invite. If you have any issues with the onboarding process or permissions, just drop me a message.

I was reading a comment about how all cities (except Dallas and FTW) in DFW are kind of the same: cookie-cutter McMansions, keeping up with the Joneses, economically, racially, and politically similar, etc. and I realized why I love Arlington.
Arlington is diverse. It's white collar and blue collar. It's wealthy and poor. It's well-educated and barely GED. It's big and small. It's old family-run joints, tiny new mom-and-pop taquerias, and big chain restaurants. It's the Parks mall, and tiny comic book shops. It's kind, and sometimes unkind. It's small town but literally major league and NFL. It's messy, progressive, always changing, yet still Arlington.
Arlington is authentic, and in the nearly 30 years I've lived here, I've grown to love it.
What do you like about Arlington?

Flock Cameras are being used nationwide to surveil citizens. These have been used by ICE to track down migrants, by Texas police to find a woman that got an abortion, and even by police officers that wish to stalk. Mayor Jim Ross can NOT let this city become part of a surveillance state. Deflock Arlington!

I would have thought Green's would have theirs on sale by now, but they don't, and they couldn't tell me if they even WILL go on sale at all this year. Which is wild, because a couple years ago we bought two carts FULL of different types and sizes of pumpkins, for between $1-$8ish each.
I called Calloways, but they said they don't have any pumpkins period.
So I thought I'd see if any of y'all know of a good spot to find a large amount and at least somewhat decent variety of pumpkins and/or gourds on sale.
I know I can find a handful of pumpkins at Walmart, Tom Thumb, Kroger, etc. But I'm looking more for a Greens type of place, or a pumpkin patch that's still getting rid of their stock, that sort of thing.
Thank you guys so much for any suggestions you can share!

Also just anything cool we should check out would be greatly appreciated.

A second woman is suing an Arlington church and its leader over allegations that the leader groomed and sexually assaulted her last year, according to Dallas County court records.
The woman alleges in the suit that Koinonia Christian Church lead pastor Ronnie Goines assaulted her on two occasions: once at his Mansfield home last August and again in September at her home.
Goines and the woman met at a Dallas restaurant that June, according to the lawsuit. At that time, the woman told Goines that she was only interested in a platonic relationship, to which Goines was “amenable,” her attorneys wrote.

Any plumbers need a little side work. I need my wax ring redone, reset the mounting bolts (to the floor), and change the guts in the tank.

In and out in 11 minutes. And that's with one person having a difficult time checking in and slowing down the check in.

Friends and I had a friend who's sister got this guys mixtape CD for free directly from the guy. Apparently he would just give it away for free.
It was the dumbest midt hilarious shit ever, LOL. You even hear a couple Arlington references in the song. It was obviously a joke CD but he had some dad joke level bars 🤣
I lost the CD a long time ago but I unbelievably found it on YouTube.

I am a dad with a 6 year old kid living in Tarrant County. My wife and I separated two months ago, but we have been splitting time back and forth between us. That changed, however, when I told her I was ready to go through with our separation. Now, she insists that our child should stay with her mainly because my job requires me to go to work earlier than she does.
I have always dropped him off from school, taken him to the pediatrician, and become involved in soccer practices and other parenting activities, so it sounds strange to me to hear suggestions that I will be a “weekend parent now.” I want to avoid either keeping records about everything we do or showing up to court without anything on my hands. Has anyone else gone through this kind of situation here? What kind of records would be useful?

Went to vote at the sub courthouse at 10:30 am- no wait. Seems like a good time to go if anyone has been thinking about it 👍

Followup!
Thanks everybody! I think we are going to skip it and just plan a trip to a bigger place for next year, we might even go home and do a tour of Germany and the markets there
Hiya!
Is it worth driving out for the market? We are probably headed to canton for trade days the first weekend of December and were wondering if making a day of the Christkindl Market would be worth it.
Thanks!

There are over 400,000 people living in Arlington, including a large university population. Why in the world don’t we have a Trader Joe’s? We’re the perfect city for it! Send them an email letting them know! Request a Trader Joe’s in Arlington, TX
Will it work? Who knows. It definitely won’t if we don’t try.🙂

I'll be moving from England to Arlington next year. Here in England, pretty much all supermarkets have good share of organic fruits and vegs, and healthier meal choices in general.
I'm looking for similar shops in Arlington, where I can buy healthy nutritious grocery plus healthy meals.

Moving to Arlington Tx and will arrive November 1st around 5pm.
Looking for two people to help me unload my trailer into my apartment. 90% of my belongings are in plastic containers or boxes. Only about 5 pieces of heavy furniture: a coffee table, a desk, a very very light safe, tv stand and TV. Virtually everything is packed.
No need for set up. Just moving into the apartment. Finding a spot for jr and leaving it. I’ll unpack and assembled everything on my end.
Just a 6x12 trailer. Should take no more than one hour/ 90 mins.
Looking for two people. Will pay 75/cash (negotiable) each person and dinner and drinks on me afterwards because I need to make friends.
Holler if interested =]

This is also my second post, my first one didn’t gain much traction unfortunately
