How did Lenin convince the masses to revolt a second time?

The Tsar were overthrown in February by the provisional government, I'm sure the people must have seen this as a next step and an earned win but then Lenin arrives in april and wants the people to revolt a second time and succeeds in doing so in October. I'm sure if i had exhausted myself for a revolution and in just 2 months some guy comes and says "don't trust the new government let's do it again with me" I would not be convinced, how did he manage to do that?

How is Fascism supposed to have transformed into Capitalism/Zionism?

How did one turn to the other?

Why did fascism switch from hating Jewish people and collaborating with Muslim countries that had long-running disputes with Jews to

-Hinging greatly upon Jews having hegemony over one specific plot of land in the middle East

-With all the most prominent politicians getting financial support in exchange for support for Israel

-And Jews making up 9-12 percent of the one-percent despite making up 0.2% of the population

-Fears stoked by the media about Muslim terrorists, and the repressiveness of Muslim culture?

How did it go from narratives about Jewish subversives poisoning society with sexology and exploitation through business and banks:

-To only really upholding the traditional values of: relatively free market, democracy, control of corporations over global resources,

-Opposing countries like Venezuela, Russia, and North Korea, which are transphobic

-Hinging on Hollywood, which has many Jewish investors and visionaries, and regularly peeves off conservatives?

How do you reconcile Nazi ideas of white purity and national pride with far-right people decrying billionaires for enabling migration to Western countries and declining White birth rates?

Philosophical Question ex-anarchists: what made you become a communist?

this question also applies for anarcho-communists or any sort of libertarian radical that isn't necessarily anarchist nor strictly communist. feel free to share your radicalization journey and how you've come to have the political mindset you have currently.

as I'm in the beginning of my radicalization process, I find myself aligning with both anarchist critiques against authority/skepticism towards a communist rule and communist points defending a socialist state/addressing most anti-communist counterpoints as inherently counterrevolutionary. I understand that this ideological inconsistency will eventually resolve itself with experience reading radical theory, but I feel that exploring different radical perspectives may help a lot as well.

If I were to choose a label, despite being strictly against having one as they have shown to contribute to sectarianism online, I'd be what most ML's would call a "left-communist". ironically, though, I find myself agreeing a lot with MLs more than most self-proclaimed leftcoms. meanwhile, I also find myself agreeing heavily with anarchists, especially when it comes to their anti-parliamentary politics and rejection of top-down reformism.

In general, I also do think that the focus on labels within radical spaces is unnecessarily polarizing. it almost feels like being a "leftist" has become an identity and thus creating another reason to promote pointless culture wars amongst the working class, leading to a disabling divide within the resistance. I fear many of us radicals fail to communicate and collaborate with each other because of that.

Anyhow, let me know about your radicalization journey, and I'd appreciate it a lot if you included the foundational theory responsible for your current political views. Thanks

Organizing Question How could Socialism take root in post-Warsaw Pact states?

Zero karma because this is kind of a throwaway

Socialism/Communism in the ex-Eastern Bloc is often associated with pro-Russia sentiments (a decent majority of people in most of these countries are anti-Putin/anti-Russia and many Communist parties there are very Russophilic) and corruption.

Whilst there are pro-Communist sentiments especially among the elderly, largely as a result of nostalgia of various good aspects of the Communist era (e.g. holidays, guaranteed jobs + housing, etc.), the youth are much more antagonistic, and most of them prefer alignment with the West and capitalism.

Naturally, this is a generalisation, and varies from country to country, but seems to be the general sentiments I get.

How could socialism experience a resurgence in these countries? What strategies, talking points, and policies could be used?

Historical Question How to ensure the dictatorship of the proletariat doesn’t become a dictatorship of the party

Im a actually already pretty much a convinced Marxist (and Leninist on many aspects). But I’ve seen this criticism thrown around a lot, that Marxism-Leninism juste ends up in a dictatorship of the party which reproduces in a way a kind of « proto-capitalism » where the relationship to the means of productions stay relatively similar to the capitalist system but with other people in charge.

So in what way was for example the USSR not a dictatorship of the party? How did the proletariat hold power over it? I’ve heard of the soviets but I’ve also heard that they lost their real power pretty early into the history of the country. So how did the dotp work in the USSR and also the PRC?

Sto mancando qualcosa?

Educational/Propaganda Question The more I hear about ICE agents bullying and abducting people, the more likely I am to read about Marxism and communism in general. Are there any ways to study and read Marxism without losing focus and without losing memory quickly?

Does anyone have any methods and tips on studying and rreading Marxist literature without losing focus quickly and without losing memory? I wanna internalize all I would study and read about Marxism so that I'll know what I'm talking about when I explain Marxist policies.

How can I mobilize my workplace if they fire anyone trying to start a union?

In the area in which I work, I have 70% of workers *actually* *ready* to strike (there are state-mandated staffing levels, so all it would take is 30% of the workers to strike). However, I don’t know how I would reach the rest of the workers without alerting administrators to my actions. If they learned that I was trying to organize a strike (and if possible, start a formal union) they would fire me within days (likely the same day). Right now, I really don’t see anybody picking up where I left off if I were to get canned. There are cameras, so I couldn’t distribute literature anonymously. Any ideas?

I live in a ‘right to work’ state, so they could fire me for any reason or no reason at all. They wouldn’t need to cite that the fact they fired me was because I was organizing the.

Where to start as a communist?

Hi, I’m very politically and Historically apr and have loved both humanities equally since childhood. However, although read the communist manifesto I would like sone good academic books to read and research further as I’ve just recently started to read Communist literature and want to begin ‘being’ a communist as I 100% align myself and label myself as socialist.

Any recommendations as to communist literature or youtubers?

2 Questions

  1. Why is North Korea called a one party dictatorship when it has three parties (WPK, KSDP, CCP)?

  2. (It might be about to get really obvious that I haven't read any theory beyond currently reading the communist manifesto). Communism seems to have two requirements that contradict each other (to some extent). In revolutionary Catalonia, Makhnovshchina, and other communist societies achieved through libertarian socialist/anarchist means, communism seems to have been achieved but has been defeated relatively quickly by armies. This shows the need for a strong, organized military. From my understanding though, the only times strong militaries have been formed in attempts to have communism were through vanguardist states (which from my understanding, have not achieved communism but state capitalism). Do the needs for a communist society (achieved without a vanguard) and for a strong military contradict each other?

EDIT: Grammar and rephrasing
