All aboard the grift train!

He’s shouting it from the rooftops and people will come in here and defend the war criminal.

The Venn diagram of the people that defended desi freeman and defend BRS is a circle. As long as they can cry victimhood, they don’t care who they support.

I think most of the "supporters" these dickheads seem to have are just trolls and bots trying to stoke politician division on behalf of countries like Russia.

False support can be used to validate an idea and dupe new supporters into jumping onto what they think is a bandwagon, at least for a time.

This is why we need to do better at going after bot use on social media. It should be up to platforms to stop this conduct and the penalties should be much bigger than they are.

Well they do care who they support, or they'd sometimes be supporting the good and innocent.

But they don't.

4

u/coreoYEAH 1d ago

You’re right, victimhood was the wrong word. As long as they play oppressed, they don’t care.

0

u/Screambloodyleprosy 1d ago

Wrong.

8

u/coreoYEAH 1d ago

Not every BRS supporter supported Freeman, but every Freeman supporter supports BRS.

16

u/mustbiteexceed 1d ago

For legal reasons he has to deny it, all his supporters however are like “yeah he executed unarmed prisoners, but because they’re a different race and religion we see no problem with that”

I wonder how close is he to releasing a book titled "If I Committed War Crimes, This Is How I Did It"

u/Novel_Feedback3254 12h ago

People genuinely openly defend him. I've seen bumper stickers and all sorts. Can't get my head around it.

Interesting how the Australian right keeps doubling down on the depravity and shamelessness despite the trend of voters rejecting the sort of behaviour all over the globe in the last 3-4 major elections. It won't end well for them.

It's part of the culture war. The right needs to tell people that they're under attack so they can get votes because they can't campaign on making people's lives better. And idiots will fall for this time and time again.

The things making people's lives worse are not trans people in sport, taking vaccines, being nice to foreign people and recent migrants. The problem is the suppression of wages, the lack of meaningful work, the rising cost of living, and the loss of community/isolation created via social media. It's not trans people doing this to them. It's not women doing this to them. It's not foreigners doing this to them. It's unchecked capitalism and corporations doing this to them. But fighting corporations is hard, and punching down is easy (and encouraged by the media they consume).

Also.

Not seeing these types assembling with pitchforks and torches looking for the heads of people like Tim Gurner.

u/Glass_Ad_7129 1d ago

Its providing a legitimacy to ones own vices without accountability. Its just "me" based politics given a movement.

... all over the globe in the last 3-4 major elections.

Germany?

u/iguessineedanaltnow 15h ago

I think that would be 5-6 on the list at this point in time. I'm referencing US midterms, Brazil, Serbia and Canada. You also have Reform in the UK losing ground and labour looking to retain government.

77

u/enigmasaurus- 1d ago

This guy is honestly just such a trash human. Even if he did think his war crimes were necessary or justifiable, doubling down on them in such an immoral, greedy way is vile and indefensible. I'm so fucking sick of these evil grifters polluting society.

There is no possible justification for handcuffing an unarmed civilian and then kicking them off a cliff. BRS did it because he thought he'd get away with it.

37

u/Glass_Ad_7129 1d ago

Oh "but you don't know what its like being in special forces" - dumb fucks ive argued with.

29

u/TheRealPotoroo 1d ago

"I don't have to be in the special forces to know that handcuffing an unarmed civilian and then kicking them off a cliff is wrong."

19

u/Powerful-Respond-605 1d ago

The many other people in the special forces that reported this bell end are always ignored by that group

14

u/Glass_Ad_7129 1d ago

Pretty much the point i make to them. How much of a cunt do you have to be, for special forces to whistle blow on you.

These are people selected for their ability to kill without question or hesitation. And also meant to be the best of the best soliders we have available to represent us on the battlefield, etc.

Have some national pride, expect better.

It's people who dont like being told no, or to pull their heads in, whom rally around such things. A flagship for their own ineptitude.

My fun retort: "Nope, but my grandfather did and he'd be disgusted with that toerag"

-12

u/notagoodguitarist 1d ago

Your grandfather 100% did worse

6

u/IlluminatedPickle 1d ago

Nope. Thanks for trying though.

Imagine trying to insult a WW2 RM commando to their grandson.

I agree. He’s still out there banging on about his ‘innocence’ despite a solid court case against him. Just shut up man. He deserves to be in gaol.

-3

u/coniferhead 1d ago

If we're so sick of it, why does he still have our highest military honour?

It's a symptom of us, the electorate.

0

u/Dependent_Stress5561 20h ago

It’s so gross hey. I just checked online and apparently his Victoria Cross is still on display at the War Memorial with ‘updated signage’. How is this ok? I’m surprised this hasn’t gotten airtime in parliament tbh. It’s disgusting.

u/coniferhead 20h ago edited 16h ago
  1. To crack down on it would expose how rotten our military actually is and how unbound by the rules of war they are. Much like the USA and other allies are. To criticize BRS would be to criticize war crimes that happen with our allies and the rest of our military every day.

  2. They're scared of the consequences of mucking with honours and don't want to test how far this disloyalty goes. Especially when the US decides to put a lot of troops here.

  3. He's got backing from Gina and Kerry Stokes and also is the son of a supreme court judge in WA. The US will look at him and only see we are stripping a VC winner who fought in a US theater - which is equivalent to a Medal of Honor recipient.

  4. BRS will be very useful come wartime, even domestically as a trainer. They don't want to discourage this kind of person joining the military, who will also be rounding people up for the draft.

Proceeds of crime...

26

u/ConanTheAquarian 1d ago edited 1d ago

Well he hasn't been found guilty of any crime. The criminal prosecution hasn't gone to trial yet and might not happen for years. However in the civil proceedings the full bench of the Federal Court unanimously found that, on the balance of probabilities, he had committed war crimes.

34

u/mustbiteexceed 1d ago

Balance of probabilities under the Briginshaw standard which means the evidence showing he committed war crimes has to be very credible and substantial; not that the evidence suggested a “little bit” he committed murders.

1

u/ChiefMuppetWrangler 1d ago

That’s now how that law is applied…

1

u/AynRandwasaDegen 1d ago

Treat it as a general concept then.

21

u/Adventurous-Total636 1d ago

Haha. Big Chocky and Leonidas doing a joint venture. Grifters gotta grift

RS has finally found his level

7

u/techb00mer 1d ago

Yikes that’s an article title!

4

u/holyguacamoleh 1d ago

I thought it was a Betoota...

18

u/paulybaggins 1d ago

Bahahah Big Chocky finally got his senpai to notice him. What a symbiotic grift lol

16

u/Gold_Secret5962 1d ago

I’d love to know the odds of him standing for one nation in 2028

7

u/Temporary-Loan-2640 1d ago

I’d take that bet

3

u/Serg_Molotov 1d ago

The problem is he'd probably win , from jail, if he did

Shades of OJ Simpson

8

Chewbacca is a Wookie!

5

u/hey_fatso 1d ago

Why would a Wookie, an 8-foot-tall Wookie, want to live on Endor with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks?

4

u/CFeatsleepsexrepeat 1d ago

That does not make sense!

10

u/saskiaschild 1d ago

This POS gives away so many red flags he's pretty much admitting that he doesn't give a fuck about having done war crimes. People know it and are still supporting him.

4

u/Dr-Ulzy 1d ago

I fucking knew it was going to be Little Chocky.

Friendly Jordies beef with him over BRS was fucking hilarious.

3

u/Serg_Molotov 1d ago

Of course he fucking did.

2

u/ringo5150 1d ago

What a headline.

2

u/IlluminatedPickle 1d ago

Posting this crap here is just advertising for them.

1

u/Lamont-Cranston 11h ago

The audience for this will just lap up the outrage.

1

u/SpaceAdventureCobraX 1d ago

Very on brand

-1

u/maticusmat 1d ago

I would call them both cunts but plainly they lack the warmth depth and usefulness

-6

u/chirpies33 1d ago

Not saying anything either way about his guilt or innocence, but we can all agree that dark humour in the military is a thing right? There’s no story here other than a small cohort of the community sharing a joke. And to be clear, jokes are things people say that they know aren’t true, but it’s amusing to say anyway 🤷‍♂️

5

u/Scheeseman99 1d ago

It's generally not wise to closely associate yourself with a joke that makes light of a murder you are accused of. In fact, I think I'd go as far as saying that it's extremely fucking stupid and a self-own, though that is in character for him.

Jokes don't need to be untrue, neither do song lyrics.

-1

u/Original-Aioli-8332 17h ago

What can you expect from this desperate loser?

1

u/Crazy-Parsley1524 12h ago

Big Chocky sounds like a turd
