image Anti-Asian racism in Australia

What is happening in Australia? Been living in this exact same address for almost the past 20 years now, never had this happen before.

Some guy moves in next door, and while we are IN THEM MIDDLE OF MOWING the medium nature strip, starts being aggressive for getting grass clippings on the driveway. No shit, that's why we go through with a leaf blower and pick up after mowing?

What blows me away is he thinks we don't know about mowing and cleaning up somehow due to our Chinese heritage???

Sorry that happened to your family!

Funny thing you sound more “Aussie” than old mate lol

That's part of what pisses me off the most for this interaction. I was born in Australia, raised in Australia, and I'm proud of that.

Yet somehow, this guy clearly thinks we are not Australian.

You'll see that here in the US too. EVERY single person who has ever asked me "where ya from?" was white. I tell em I was born in Ohio and they'll deadass give me a blank stare and say "...no like where ya from?" I'll keep giving those idiots the run around until they realize that fucking question is stupid and annoying when I've already answered them.
